I got an offer letter for MGB-GLSCM...:)

Same query from my side as well, but I had thought over it for a while before applying. I can trust SPJ brand for placements.

Also, the long term benefits of this course would be great.

I have 1 yr of work-ex and currently a package of 7LPA. Still I believe the chance of converting this into a GMBA after 2 yrs of post MGB work-ex would be worth the payment.

All this is an optimistic outlook. This is a risk indeed, but I think its worth taking.

Also, I was willing to know if we could form an e-group say on gmail or fb. Many of us would have not done such USD payments or visited these places(I have not). We can say meet up once and discuss. Even our parents can know each other for any contact that could be required in future.

I mean I gave me evaluations on Sunday 8 July. I have not recieved any mail. When did you guys finish your evaluations? I thought they would send a mail stating accept wait or reject atleast.

Being the 1st batch SPJ would want it to have a thrawling placement success to attract prospective future students for this course. Thus, attention could be given to ensure the course starts off really well.

Charging so much, they would need to show that it is worth it. So, I believe as much we would be desperate to get our ROI in about an year or two, so would SPJ be to showcase that fact.

Also, the fact that they started such a course, they must have done some market survey to ensure that good companies are looking out for freshers/less exp. guys.

Lets hope this course rocks !

Those who have been called for either MGB or GMBA evaluations could anybody put alight on the self-adhesive sticker labels that we have been asked to bring??
All i m able to find at book stores are the notebook stickers that contain tabs for name roll no. etc....

Plz help!!!

You will get it in any good stationary shop.Try Lifestyle or Staples(administrators : not promoting any brand). Ask the assistant for labels.

How is the panel interview... what type of questions they are asking...

Case study is about the same stream e.g Marketing what all we should know to get through that... Difficulty level...etc etc

Essay questions .. like.. career objectives... Why Mba...etc etc..

Hi!

You need to ask for blank self adhesive labels . They are like the labels used for sticking on notebook covers in school, just that these need to be blank, so you can write your name and address on it. We need this to use on envelopes to courier you documents like your offer letter or joining instructions etc.

Hi! The essay / case study round is based on the specialisation you have opted for . In the Interview you can expect any sort of questions pertaining to your work- both technical &general; , why GMBA, your knowledge on the specialition you have opted for, your career plans etc.

hi! If you are referring to the GMBA program, we need the candidate to have a minimum of 3 years work experience before the start of the program. For 2013,we have 2 intakes, April/May 2013 and Nov/Dec 2013. SO you need to have completed 3 years by the start date.

hi! Insitutes which are accredited by the Association of MBA's (AMBA ) have the 3 year work experience requirement for their MBA programs . Since SPJain too is accredited by AMBA we have this requirement. As for placements, the GMBA and MGB attracts different set of candidates. The MGB is for candidates who have just started or have completed 1 or 2 years at work whereas GMBA is for candidates who are in the middle of their careers. Recruiting companies would offer positions accordingly.

Hi! The GMBA program requires the candidate to have a minimum work experience of 3 years and this is mandatory. You would qualify to apply for the MGB program.

Hi! We only mail the offer to candidates . Candidates who have a regret or have been waitlisted will find their status updated online shortly.

Hi Rutty

I have recieved an admit for the MGB course..I have certain queries...Has the accreditation for the MGB course been recieved from the Dubai government...because on the site it still states that the institute is awaiting the same...Also will the joining date be pushed further...as i am currently working and need to give a notice period of two months before i leave the organisation...I would not want to give the resignation and then sit at home waiting for the joining dates..Thanks in advance!! :)
