Hi Rutty,

I have few Queries and doubts and request your suggestion on that

Actually Background Verification ,Visa and other Documents have been Delivered to the Indian Liaison Office. For that I got an confirmation mail From Visa Department but I haven't get any confirmation mail from other Departments about the Background Verification and other documents which I sent along with the Visa Documents .I also mailed at [email protected] requesting for the acknowledgement mail for the documents received. Do I also need to call the office for the confirmation of the documents?

Hi!

An application is waitlisted if it does not meet all the parameters required by us. If your application only lacks the aptitude test score, you will be called to take the SPJain aptitude test which is scheduled for 4th march, 2012.



Thanks Rutty, will I be told what information is missing? Do hobbies and annual family income fall under these parameters? I think I have not filled these in.

Hi Rutty,

I've been called for evaluation on 4th March. I just wanted to know can I make a stream change now? I have filled CM as first and ITM as second. However, now I want the order to be reversed. First as ITM ans second as CM.

Please let me know if this is possible.

Does it make sense to apply for the April intake now, since it is already quite late and the class would already be almost decided. Do you still suggest to go ahead and apply or should I wait for the Nov intake?
I already have a GMAT score and around 6.5 years of work-ex.

I will be applying for nov intake, by then my work ex will be 34 months. I was in internship for 3 months. So can I fill my work ex as 3 yrs and 1 month.??

The results of the aptitude test held on 19th feb have been declared and mailed to candidates. The last aptitude test on 4th March is only for selected candidates, if shortlisted you will be mailed to register for this round before the 29th of Feb.

So if someone's score has not matched the criteria , Will they be asked to give the spjat exam on 4th March. Can you please direct me to the FAQ or discussion of the same in the sp jain website. That will be very helpful. I have appeared for the spjat on 19th Feb but waiting for the results. If it is not cleared that am I allowed to give the exam again.

We donot send an acknowledgement for other documents. Ack. Is only sent for the visa documents. But if you really need to know, then kindly mail [email protected] along with your courier tracking number.

Hi!

No, we cannot tell the parameters for each and every student. Only where it is the aptitude test score, we mail and ask them to take the SPjain aptitude test.

hi!

If you have not cleared the test, there will not be any update in your status. It will still show as waitlisted. The test on 4th March is for selected candidates only and if you are shortlisted you will be mailed seperately for that.

Yes, this can be done. You need to mail [email protected] with the request. You may register for the evaluations before that as the slots may get full soon. The change to your specialisation will be done at the backend.

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.

The April 2012 batch is scheduled to start around the 14th_16th April 2012 . If you will be able to arrange for your finances and complete your exit formalities with your company by this date, you may go ahead and apply.

Hi!
For November 2012, admissions will open around April/May 2012 and work experience will be calculated till 31st October 2012. Internships need to be mentioned separately and we will consider that but it cannot be counted when you are calculating for your total full time experience.

My evaluation is on March 4. I wanted to have a look at my filled in application form before I face the panel since I had completed it in a rush. Is it possible to download it? There seems to be no link to access the application form on the site.
