Hi!Your queries are answered in red below-1. I have taken GMAT and have a score of 650. I know that S P Jain has a requirement of at least 650 and you expect candidates to have at least this score. You also encourage participants with less than 650 to apply as GMAT is not the ONLY thing that SP Jain looks for. Now, I have been to S P Jain seminar and the person over there said that we kind of have an excel sheet of all candidates in which each row represents one candidate and we consider entire row while evaluating any candidate. This practise is fair enough and is used by almost all institutes. Now, I want to know is with a score of 650, is it GAURANTEED that S P Jain wont reject me because my GMAT scores JUST meets the criteria ? It does not seem to be the case as per the seminar that I attended. Are the candidates waitlisted or rejected solely on the score of GMAT if other factors (case study and interview) are passed by the evaluation committee or GMAT with 650 is just a filter criteria that does not matter even 1% after a candidate applies with a score of 650 ?If you are applying for any of our specialisations except Consulting Management, then a GMAT score of 650 should suffice but thats provided you are meeting all our other parameters as well. Now, if you were to fall short in any area say for eg. your academics are not too strong then a higher GMAT score will give you an edge. But you will certainly not be rejected on grounds of your GMAT score alone.
2. What is the average GMAT score for S P Jain Dubai program ?

3. I got to know that SPJat is scheduled on 18th of Dec. Please confirm. Yes, we are doing the SPJain aptitude test on 18th dec. registration to be done online from our website .
4. Are there any evaluatuion rounds going to take place for candidates who have applied with GMAT score or CAT score before 18th Dec ?We will have our first evaluation only after 18th dec. to include the students who are taking their test on 18th
5. Can you please put in the approximate DATES of evaluation and entire process so that I can plan few things ?6. Can you please put in the exact process of evaluation after applying for the program such as How many days it takes to know whether we will be called for evaluation after we apply and the details about actual evaluation process ?
The dates for our first evaluation round are not yet out. They will be announced soon . We normally have 2-3 rounds of evaluation at regular intervals for each intake. The evaluation process involves an essay case study round followed by an interview with the Panel. There is an elimination after this, post which shortlisted candidates go for an interview with the director. This is the final round. Results of this round will be announced a week to ten days after the evaluation date.
7. The highest salary for S P Jain Mumbai is 23L and highest salary for S P Jain Dubai is 16L. This is something makes me worried. To make the matter even worse, average salary for S P Jain Dubai is 10.63L which is at least 3L less than what Mumbai guys get. Can you please address this difference ? Is it because of people doing 1 year MBA and not 2 yr MBA? I am sure S P Jain Mumbai entire cost is less than 20 lacks..
Please feel free to select either the PGDM program offered in Mumbai or the Global MBA offered in Dubai/Singapore based on your needs and preferences. Both programs though different in their architecture and curriculum are of high quality and would serve you well.
Regarding your question on starting salaries for the Global MBA program:
1] Many of our best students select jobs in Singapore and Dubai where the highest salaries are Rs 24.43 lakhs and Rs 32.84 lakhs respectively. Please be aware that these cities have zero to low taxes further enhancing the savings potential. So merely taking the highest Indian salary is misleading.
2] The average salary for the entire cohort was approximately Rs 14 lakhs.
3] The average Indian salary for our latest placements (cohort that graduated in Oct '11) is Rs 12.74 lakhs and the overall average is Rs 15.50 lakhs. Currently around 85% of the cohort is placed and we expect the balance to be placed by this month end.
4] S P Jain's Global MBA program got ranked #9 in the World for Value for Money in the Financial Times 2011 rankings.
We believe that these numbers put us in the top 5 B Schools from India. However, we recommend that other parameters besides starting salaries should also be considered when choosing a school. An MBA degree should serve you for your entire working career.
Foremost among these are the curriculum and faculty. S P Jain's Global MBA program has recently been revamped and focuses on Decision Making. We believe that Decision Making is the hallmark of any good leader and hence has a value for a life time. S P Jain's Global MBA program is reputed to having excellent faculty including many from around the world. If you like we could connect you with some current students for you to gather this information firsthand.
Finally its our opinion that global exposure broadens ones horizons and this is critical for any business manager.

If it is the case, then what is the average salary for indian guys going for product marketing industries ?
