I have a concern. Can you please share the placement record of Nov, 2010 Intake students. The list on the website is probably of the April 2010 intake.
Also, can you tell me if some one makes a career shift (say, IT to Marketing) with the GMBA, as in, earlier experience was in IT, and he does his GMBA in MM, will he be treated as a fresher during the placement time? And will the offers coming his way reduce by any chance? Please help me understand this.
And can you also tell me...I know I can get an admission for April ,2011 defered to Nov, 2011. But is it possible to defer the joining to next year...as in April, 2012. Is there a possibility?

I am also sailing in same boat.I want to get in CM and I have been asked either to select MM or waitlist for CM. I have some financial worries so want to take admissions in Nov-2011. I mailed the same to official mail and have been asked to deposit 2500 USD with the acceptance letter before deadline. But I have not got any accpetance letter from SPJAIN :lookround:. Also the mail ask to pay another chunk of USD 2500 at some date in Future. Kindly tell me :
1. When is the first deadline to pay USD 2500 ? How to pay it ?
2. Will I get admission in Nov 2010 for sure in CM or there also I could be kept at waiting ? What about my offer/ acceptance letter from SP Jain ?
3. When is the future deadline for paying another 2500 USD be tentatively?

Once you accept your offer for MM under non-placements, it cannot be changed later, even if you decide to defer to Nov 2011.

I have been offered marketing under non-placements category, waitlist for placements category. I want to take up the offer only under placements category. However, If I decide to be in waitlist for placements category, I will forego my non-placements offer also. Instead, if i take up mm under non-placements and then defer it to nov 2011, will there be any chances of taking me under placements atleast in nov 2011.
Please guide me on this.

I just requested for a deferment to the November 2011 inteake, and I got a reply from them asking me to pay the initial deposit. But they have also written in the mail that there is a possibility that they might change the area of my specialization. Do you think they will change it???? How often does it happen? Now I am scared!!!! Can anyone help!

Rutty I have few questions.
1)For me to submit AED 9125 the last date is 14th march, but I plan to submit it through wire transfer tomorrow itself. For me to submit AED 1,35,830 the last date is 21st March. I have got offer/acceptance letter on 8th March and I went to banks for loans. They say the minimum turn around time for them is 15/20 days. Is it possible to get an extension on time for this because I do not want to differ my joining to Nov 2011.
2)The checklist of documents mentions documents like (10th, 12th , Graduation etc) along with background verification form. Do we need to send them again?
If you could let me know the answer to these. Thanks in Advance.

this is the same status as it was before the interview. I am getting jittery now. Some people have regret as their status. Does this mean I am still being evaluated ? The week is almost over and even the wait lists have been notified.

At times, in the interest of students the management could bring in some changes in the specialisations offered, so the clause is added for that. There is nothing to really worry about that clause

If your candidature has been rejected after being interviewed, you can still re-apply for the next intake but in that case we need to see some substantial addition in your profile

Other than offer letter I havent received any email from SP Jain. ( I have made the wire transfer today and will get the receipt on saturday)
My question is that I have to apply for loan which would take 15/20 days to process (PSU Bank), can I get extension to Pay the fees? (I see in the email that any late fees payment will result in fine of 410 Dollars, just wanted to know if that could be avoided as I have just got 13 days to make arrangement for the fees.)
