Hi!

The aptitude test conducted by S P Jain is intended to test a student's IQ, mathematical ability, logic and reasoning capacity, English reading and comprehension ability. There is also a section on general knowledge. These questions are intended to test knowledge of current events and normal business awareness. The paper would be divided into different sections based on these areas. The test is for a duration of 1 hour. The test paper consists of around 40 to 45 questions The format of the test may change from time to time but the testing would be on the mentioned parameters. The aptitude test will be a paper based test. There is negative marking - different questions may have a different scale of negative marking, and this would be taken into account while calculating a student's score. We do not have sectional cut offs, we expect the overall score to meet our cut off.
You can prepare for the test by referring to study material used for CAT & GMAT preparation.

Hi Rutty,

I applied for GMBA program this sunday ie 20 FEb without any GMAT and CAT score. I got an email from Sejal that I am through to the second round but have to face the SPJAT on 05-MAR and if qualified then I will be called for the interviews on 06-MAR.

Its been a long time that I have written an aptitude. Could you please let me know what is the pattern of the test. If GK, is it current affairs or General Knowledge.

I would like to give my earnest effort to crack this exam.

I have been offered ITM for April/2011 intake and currently I'm on deputation in US.

So joining the course in April is very difficult and I'm planning to defer the admit to Nov/2011.

My question is for ITM NOV/2011 batch in which location the course will start ? Is it in Dubai or Singapore ?

Class 10-85.4%
Class 12-80.2%

You can change you specialisation before going in for evaluations. To do this you need to send us a mail on [email protected] with this request.

We will be having our last round of the SPJain aptitude test on the 5th of March but since this is only for students shortlisted by us you need to submit your application before hand. So kindly submit your application for the program and we will let you know if you qualify to take the test.

Could you please let me know where is SPJAT test and interviews are being conducted on Mar 5 and Mar 6. I see two different addresses in spjimr.org and spjain.org

Based on your post stating that you are a fresher (B.TECH(ECE)-7.33(Till 7th semester)), i dont think you are eligible for applying. Please check the eligibility criteria. I think you need min of 2 years of Experience.

My evaluation is on 6th March.
Problem is that my brother's marriage is on same day in the morning in Orissa. I stay in Delhi. I have already booked 3 pm slot for evaluation. However, it is emotionally very difficult for me to miss out my only brother's marriage. Can the evaluation be rescheduled for April 2011 intake?

If not can it be postponed for Nov 2011 intake? Do I need to apply again or I will be called based on this current call?

Also, I have paid USD50 to book my slot.Will that be adjusted?

If i remember properly then the first batch of consulting management started in April 2010, so they are yet to pass out, hence no placement report. Please do verify the same with Rutty/Sejal on this.
