Hi Rutty,

I got an offer for marketing in April 2011 intake. I have seen the corporate partners list and the placement stats on the S.P.Jain website. Also, I have come to know that a majority of Indian students get a job back in India only. Can you put some light on placement statistics of ""Indian"" students in Singapore/Dubai/China? Also, after completion of the course, if we dont get a suitable profile how much time can we stay in Singapore/Dubai without a job? Because So far I know that we'd be on a student visa which would not be more than the duration of the course. Kindly share your inputs.

I have been selected for ACFBM- april 11. My second choice at the time of application was IT management. I would be extremely grateful if you could grant me permission to change over from finance to IT management, considering that I am from an IT background I have come to understand that this would a better option.

secondly is it possible to defer my course to nov 11 batch as I have to give three months notice to my company. if yes can you please guide me with the procedure and the fees to be paid for the same and the last date of payment of deferrement fees.

I have applied for IT specialization - 70801 IT
I haven't received any reply so far and application status also not updated .
What should I expect Yes /No?

Hi!

It does not really matter where you are located at the time our placements begin.The companies are informed about the batch schedule beforehand so they plan the interviews accordingly. If the company is located at another city, they either arrange to come down to our campus to Interview students or do it via video conferencing.

Are the chances of us getting placed in a city where we finish the course higher as compared to other city?? Like if we finish the course in Dubai what are the chances that we get placed/find a job in Singapore and not Dubai??

As of Feb 18th do we need to submit the acceptance letter as well as the payment of USD 2500 or do we also have to send all the VISA processing docs,background verification docs by Feb 18th?

Do the students passing out in December or the students from November intake have any kind of disadvantage over students taking admissions in April intake as companies normally recruit around April/May ?

Hi!

There is no difference to the placements for both intakes. This can be seen from the placement statistics we have put up on our website.

Since, companies are aware of the 2 intakes we have, they come in to recruit accordingly.

Again I haven't seen much information on Consulting Management in any forum. Could you provide details (class profile, studies, faculties, jobs...) in this field from your instituition?...

I got a mail yesterday stating: Evaluations will be held in MUMBAI only on Sunday, February 20, 2011

but i want to know, can i go for the next evaluation date, as it is already 13thfeb, and i need some more time

You are certainly welcome to re-apply again for next intake but since you have already been interviewed, we need to see some substantial growth in your profile to be assessed again for the same specialisation.

hi rutty

i appeared for evaluation process on 6th feb unfortunately i cud not make it to the 2nd round of int, so it confirms that i was eliminated in the panel int.

now my question is can i reapply for nov 2011 intake and if yes does re applicants have less possibility of getting selected as compared to fresh candidate.
