The GK section will mainly have questions relaing to current events and normal business awareness.

Hi Rutty,

I am appearing for the SPJAT apptitude test on the 13th of Feb and I have already applied for the April intake. I am hoping my test score is considered though for the evaluation process.

Also, I was wondering whether you can please tell me what sort of questions feature in the GK section of this test.

During the evaluation, i had the essay and case study and just 1 round of interview...
does that mean i didnt make it??????

Hi...Wen did u give ur Evaluation..did u have an interview with Nitish Jain(President)

Hi!

The selection criterion remains the same through-out. So its perfectly fine to apply at this stage.

I have another follow-up question. Is it a disadvantage applying this late in the admission process?

Hi!

Yes, we do have an elimination after the Interview with the Panel.

During the evaluation, i had the essay and case study and just 1 round of interview...

does that mean i didnt make it??????

If we reach the interview stage with Nitesh jain,does it mean that we are either waitlisted/selected?Can elimination happen even after this round?

I appeared for 2nd round of Evaluations on 5th Feb. I got an email saying that after the evaluation I have been offered my 2nd specialization which is GLSCM.
If I don't accept it I'll be waitlisted for CM which was my first preference.

What are the chances of making it to the CM if I don't choose GLSCM?

Please reply I need to take a decision quickly.

hi rutty
i appeared for evaluation process on 6th feb unfortunately i cud not make it to the 2nd round of int, so it confirms that i was eliminated in the panel int.

now my question is can i reapply for nov 2011 intake and if yes does re applicants have less possibility of getting selected as compared to fresh candidate.

so it means that you got your result in just one day and you are through if you opt GLSCM..

Hi,

I have been waitlisted - initial screening. My profile: 2.75 years experience (1 year - IT, 1.75 years - family business), GMAT 700, 12th - 90%.

But last time, I applied for Nov 2010 intake with 2.25 years experience and 670 GMAT, and I had got the call for evaluation.

Can you please throw some light on this situation. Also, when is the next round of evaluations? how many seats remain in each specialization?

Hi!

You may have been offered the GLSCM specialisation because the Interviewers may have felt that to be better suited to your profile or it could even be that you may not be entirely meeting our requirements for CM.
We cannot therefore comment on the possibilites of being offered the CM specialisation as the decision is solely taken by the Management

I have some queries for the SPJ ACFBM and IBWM course.... Please answer them...

1. What are the official placement figures for both of these courses?
2. What are the profiles being offered? Are they in line with the specializations being done, or are just the generic finance profiles?
3. What are the funding procedures for these courses? I mean loan and all processes....How much can we expect to get the amount in loans?
4. What are the options available for the students if they do MBA in one and then try to get placed in jobs dealing with the other specialization?

Today got the admission offer...Yipeer for IT specialization..
Any one can help me know more on placements after this course..????

Hi Rutty,

I have couple of questions regarding fees etc.

1) The initial deposit of 2500 USD which is registration fees, can it be transferred through net banking?
2) If the fees is deposited on time and the documents required for visa processing are sent a day or two later.. would that be fine?

Hi!

In this case the student has only been asked if he is fine with a change in specialisation because the Interviewers may have felt that to be better suited to his profile. A decision is yet to be given once we receive his reply.

Yes you are welcome to apply again for the Nov 2011 intake. Since you have already been evaluated this time, we need to see some substantial growth in your profile when you apply the next time.
