Yes you are. The last date to apply is feb 13th.

I gave my test on 23rd Jan '11 and on 28th Jan'11 I got call for evaluation.

Please help on selection procedure and what all need to be prepared.
I need more info on essay part.

Hi Rutty,

Need some info on the evaluation process. In the invitation mail it has been mentioned that the evaluation will consist of an essay / case study round, a panel interview and a personal interview.

How is it going to be? I mean on a more elaborate manner....

Well, there is no separate section for essays... In the other information section, you will find the place to write a couple of them...

We do have the results of the SPJain aptitude test held on 23rd Jan, the same is being mailed to students now. Those students whose score meet our cut-off mark, have already been mailed regarding the evaluation and those whose score does not meet our requirement have been mailed about the next aptitude test scheduled for 13th Feb 2011.

hi rutty mam,

i have applied for the sp jain global mba and given a spjat on 23rd jan 2011.
i havnt recieved any evaluation calls but the site says the evaluation process starts on 5th feb 2011, is it possible my application has not been shortlisted or are they awating the result of spjat exam, in either ways a candidate should be informed. I dont understand what to do and have no idea wats my current status. If i havent been shortlisted how will i know ?

I have submitted my application on 26th of Jan. I haven't received any mail regarding shortlisting. If i'm shortlisted, will it happen before 5th of Feb so that I can attend the evaluations on 5th/6th or is it possible that I might be considered for the next round of evaluations.

The application form does not accept special characters. These have been identified on the first page of the form. Pls try and avoid using those.

Hi Rutty,

While filling application form, at some places, my comma (,) character is getting converted to new line char (enter) automatically and for some it is fine.
This is making some of the text look bad, erroneous and difficult to understand. I tried re-entering the text multiple times and with different browsers. Can you suggest what to do to correct this?

The last date to apply for the GMBA program-April intake is 21st Feb 2011. Our cut-off for GMAT is 650.

Hey all am sorry again wit ma questions..this is reg the application fees and my GMAT score..
I read somewhere that for this initial application online submission, i need not pay anything.. so when do i have to pay for my application...
AFTER THEY RECEIVE THIS APPLICATION OF MINE..I MIGHT BE SHORTLISTED AND CALLED FOR THE CASE STUDY,ESSAYS AND THE ACTUAL EVALUATION..RITE???
I also know that i need to send my official GMAT score thru mba.com.. i mean..WHEN DO I NEED TO SEND MY OFFICIAL GMAT SCORE..

IAM just trying to understand the whole app PROCESS.. sorry puys..pls help

Hi Rutty,

I am Jeevan GK and had a interview today over skype as I am working in Netherlands. I would like to have few things clarified .

1. Since I am from IT back ground but have opted for IBWM as a specialization , will I be restricting my opportunities to apply for IT companies during placement process OR will the companies restrict me from attending the interviews.

2. Are MBA finance specialized candidates who have IT experience like me are not allowed to apply for consultancy jobs ?. Because most consultancy companies prefer that candidates possess IT/Finance background.

Are there any cases where IT/Finance and CM cohort students all get placed in same companies?

Can you tell me what proportion of IT background applicants would be in the cohort of IBWM specialization?. Thanks for reading.

Dear fellow aspirants,

Guess who made it to the 2011 Financial Times (FT) Global Top 100 B-school list.

Check out SPJCM - Singapore/Dubai sitting pretty at #68th. Additionally, SPJCM was ranked #6 overall in Asia in FT 2011 Global Business School Survey. More importantly, SPJCM cracked the FT Global top 100 in the first year of its eligibility (eligibility criteria of 5 full years of operations).

This really puts SPJCM on the global map. I guess this will make the competition much stiffer.

hi!

There is no application fee inorder to apply for the GMBA program. Only if you are shortlisted, you will have to pay the evaluation fee. Also, if you donot have a valid CAT or GMAT score and if you are taking the SPjain aptitude test, then you would have to pay the test fee when you register for the test.

You can apply for the program online from Apply Online for GMBA Program @ S P Jain Center of Management, Dubai, Singapore, Sydney. Last date to apply is 21st Feb 2011.

While applying itself you can mention your GMAT score and details on the form. In which case you will have to get the original scoresheet for verification during the evaluations. Alternatively you can report your score through GMAC.
