If you have applied with the aptitude test score, we will screen your application directly and let you know if your qualify for the evaluations . If your aptitude scores are awaited, we give you a decision only once we have your aptitude test scores.

Evaluations consists of Essay-Case study round followed by a Panel interview, once you qualify here, you move into the Personal Interview round where a final decision is taken.

Hi Rutty,

I am Jeevan GK working in Netherlands from past 1.5 years .I have applied to GMBA under IBWM specialization. I have paid 90 $ for evaluation and test as suggested by the ADCOM and took the aptitude test online on 19th Jan. So far I havent recieved any email confirming my scheduled skype interview. My application was submitted on 29th December.

This being the situation I have a important question. Will my interview be completed by the end of this month along with the result of the evaluation.

Why I asked this question is, as per our company policy we have to serve a notice period of one month here in Netherlands. But the notice period starts from the 1st of next month after I submit my resignation. In this case if i get to know the result before JAN end and accordingly I put my resignation before Feb 1st the notice period counts from 1st of Feb. If I get to know the result and resign some time in FEB(No matter when) my notice starts from March 1st and I am out in march end in which case I wouldn't be able to make it to the course along with all visa processing in 9 days.

Do you have any suggestion for me. Thank you very much for your time

I'm having a similar profile as yours but without the intl exposure. 4.5 yrs exp, BE(Mumbai) Indian IT male.
From what i have heard form ppl taking up exec-MBA is that, it suits a person already playing a managers role, by that what i mean is playing atleast a role of a tech lead(project manager, would be better though). The reasoning behind this is exec programs are designed in such a way that they cater to the needs of managers, ppl having little or no managerial exp might find it difficult to cope up. So from my POV a regular MBA would be better, unless you are already playing a managers role!! I suggest you get in touch with folks who are currently pursuing and exec or those who have completed it to get more definite perspective on this :)

I have applied for SP Jain April -2011 course(IT specialization) and will be undergoing face to face evals soon. This although being a 1 yr course is a MBA and not an exec-MBA,more rigorous(thats what i have heard) hence my decision.

Hi!

There are no fixed numbers set for each specialisation, though we try and limit the batch strength to about 200-250.
You would get to know the total numbers of students for our CM specialisation once we are through with the admissions ie. early March.
as for recruitments, pls note there is no difference in the April and december batch. Since companies are aware of our term dates before hand, they come in with their requirements accordingly.


i wud appreciate if u can share about the strength in CM for current running batch.......
