Actually I deferred my Nov10 admit to Ap11. I want to ask you about the Loan part.. when the date of submission of the fees will be given to the applicants who have deferred to Apr11, the issue is I am not working in India and if the the required admission docs are not provided then it may take some time to get the loan from the bank.as I have to be in India to get the loan.
Please kindly advice when should I expect the details and when should I start applying for loan.

Hi!

Yes, we do consider family business work exp. You can mention the details in the application form while applying. There is no separate reservation for students coming from family business background, they are selected solely on merit, so their intake varies each year.

Our application process involves application assessment, if shortlisted you will be called for the Evaluation process which includes Essay / Case Study and Interview. You will not be short listed for evaluations until and unless you have either a valid GMAT or CAT score on your records to show us. Alternatively, you can also take our SP Jain Aptitude Test, which is a general aptitude test on the same lines as a GMAT or CAT.
We have started with admissions for our April 2011 intake.

Hi!

We have only merged product and service marketing together as one specialisation. This specialisation in Marketing Management will cover areas of both product and service marketing so as such there will be no impact on placements or offers.The changes have been designed to bring more integration across marketing topics.

Hi,

I am an applicant of Nov '10 batch. I was waitlisted after the interview and eventually rejected.

What I understand from this is that, my profile is certainly good but I feel that I lost out due to competition. I have a GMAT score of 670 and work ex of about 2 years.

I have 2 questions -

1) to beat the competition would you recommend to apply with a better GMAT score?
2) Also, since its only been 2 months since my last application, I will not be able to show drastic improvements in my profile. So, when is the best time to apply? as soon as possible (so that I'm one of the early birds) or as late as possible (so that there is considerable improvement in my profile)

The admission process for SPJain Mumbai and SPJain Dubai-Sing-Sydney are different and independant of each other.

For SPJain Dubai-Sing-Sydney, you can apply online from - Apply Online for GMBA Program @ S P Jain Center of Management, Dubai, Singapore, Sydney.

Hi!

Your GMAt score of 670 should be fine as long as it has been taken after 2009. Since your candidature was rejected after the evaluation, we would recommend you to re-apply with some significant improvement in your profile. Since the Panel would not like to judge you based on the same parameters,we need to see some significant growth.

Hello,

But while filling the details I missed to put the duration(40 Months) of my previous company and annual salary of that company currently both columns are blank :(, though I have mentioned all details properly for my current organisation and the total exp column also contains the correct duration (4 yr 6 months).

Another Issue : "Country to be mentioned - if you have done any assignments " In this column I mentioned details of my 10 Months onsite term, but nothing is visible now :(
It looks my details are incomplete..

Please suggest how can I correct these errors regarding missing entries in my JOB2 column and blank international exp column???
Do you suggest me to create another application for myself :(

Ashu,

You can drop an e-mail to [email protected] with your Job2 details.

Assignments in a country different from your permanent posting field didn't show up the information I filled in when I had applied in the last intake either so I guess it could be a bug and they might be able to see it from their end, can still mail in the details to be or wait for an official reply.
