Hi!
We will have to refer your placement related queries to our corporate relations office, so could you pls mail those questions to [email protected].
Your other queries are answered as below-
- We have just finished our last round of evaluations and are making offers. The break up you need will be available a bit later.
- No, there is no summer training required before you start the GMBA. We however give out an optional reading list to students before the start of the programme.
- The cost of travel to either of the cities is not included in your fees. You need to make your own travel arrangements. SPJain however helps in arranging for your Visa.
- Henceforth students will only get one degree. The degree at the end of the program will be an Australian degree, awarded by S P Jain Center of Management, Australia stating Master of Business Administration (Global) (with the specialization mentioned).
- For your query on license, pls note that all institutions get accredited initially for a period of 5 years after which it gets renewed. However, the degree given in 2011 is for ever, irrespective of renewal of the accreditation.
Hi Rutty,
I have been selected for GMBA Nov 2010 intake. I have a few question though. I am really interested in joining SP Jain GMBA. So it would be great if you can answer the below questions ASAP as the payment date is coming near :)
I have a total experince of 5 years. And to spend 16 to 17 lacs on education at this point in my carreer is a big decision for me. Please reply. Thanking in advance.
1. What is the %breakup of students in terms of work ex?
2. Since the general trend in India for companies is to recruit students with 2 to 3 years of experience, what placement services does SP Jain provide to students with 5+ years work ex and is the average package higher than that for a fresher or 2+ work ex students?
3. Since SP Jain has students from South East Asia and Dubai as well and Indian students can stay at most for 1 month after completion of course on student visa how many Indian students are placed in Singapore and Dubai?
4. Do the companies in Dubai and South East Asia prefer native students more as many Indian students after a certain period of time would prefer to go back to India and work?
5. Does GMBA require summer training as well? If yes when is a student required to attend summer training?
6. After completion of 6 months at one location, is the cost of travel to the other location included in the fee? If not does SP Jain help students in travel related arrangements?
7. Will we be receiving 2 degrees at the end of the course? Heard that our earlier batches received a certificate from SP Jain, Dubai and SP Jain, Mumbai. Will we also get these 2 certificates, one from Australia and other from SP Jain, Mumbai
8. SP Jain provides Australian degree. I visited the site for department of NSW, and noticed that the license for SP Jain Australia will expire in 2014. What happens to our degree after that?
