Hi,

the percentile is calculated taking into account the number of students taking the test.

The score does play an important role but moreso before being shortlisted for the evals and during the evals we consider otehr criteria like personality,smartness, communication skills etc

Can you please let me know the basis of the percentile scores in SPJAT and how has it been calculated?
Also can you please let me know how far does the scores play a part in the selection i.e is it only till the initial screening or it plays a part in the evaluations too?

Hi,

We take a holisitic view of the applicants profile - so we will look at your academics both undergrad and post grad and definitely if you have a post grad qualification with relevant work ex it will surely add value to your application

Onsite Experience-8 months in UK(London).

B. Tech-70%(Electronics and Communication Engg) from Govt Engg College.
Xth-72%-ICSE board
XIIth-73%-CBSE board

CAT 2007 percentile-84
TOEFL-93/120
NCFM-Certificates
Various Awards and Honors at Corporate Level, College and School Level.
Extracurricular-Average(lots of -at school,college, corporate and social level)

I have opted for IT Management as first choice and Investment banking and Wealth Management as second choice.

What are my chances..?

Hi Puys,

I had attended the evals. on 16th August... Was 1st interviewed by the Dean and one more faculty. The 2nd round was the interview with the President. I hope by Friday the final status would be clear.
I have opted for the HR branch. The interviews were good. Lets see what happens.
Could you plzz share your experiences as well?

hello,

I had my GMBA evals on the 16th in the 10 Am slot. Had a very tough PI,bit of a stress interview.I had opted for GLSCM and was interviewed by a finance prof and the EMBA dean. I feel I could have done better. Got thru the first round but then almost every one did. Fingers crossed.

so,do you give leverage to students with a good academic record considering i have no work ex.

About 70-75% of the batch which graduated in May 09 has been placed - we are trying our best to place the rest and they are curretnly pursuing internships which we hope will convert to permanent placements
