Had following queries regarding admissions/evals:

1) WOuld my SPJAT 09 score be valid for the April'10 batch? If YES what is the procedure to defer my application for the same?
2)Do i have to appear for the evals even though i plan to defer admission to april'10 or April '10 intake would have its separate eval process?
3) When would the results for the Aug '09 SPJAT be out?

I have appeared for SPJAT on the 1st of August.
Some queries that I'd like to put forth.

1.When are the results expected in the email for SPJAT held on 1st august? SOMETIME THIS WEEK

2.Would it be too late to apply after the results are recieved and get a call for the 1st round of evals on the 16th of august ? YES, IT MIGHT BE AS NOW WE WOULD NOT BE SHORTLISTING ANYMORE STUDENTS FOR THIS ROUND OF EVALS

3.If I apply after recieving the result when can I expect a call for 2nd evals if selected ,if not called for the first round due to a late entry? WE HAVENT YET FIXED THE DATE FOR THE NEXT ROUND OF EVALS - ONLY ONCE WE DO FIX THE DATE WILL WE START SENDING OUT CALL LETTERS?

4.Does the 2nd round hamper the chances of getting admission for the November,09 intake ? NO IT WOULD NOT

5.Lastly, Will my result be valid for the April ,2010 intake? YES IT SHOULD BE VALID FOR THE APRIL 09 INTAKE

Hello Shweta,

I could not make the payment through credit card till Saturday morning. Sensing the urgency of the situation, I have dispatched a DD of Rs. 2500. It should reach your Mumbai office by today positively.
My application number is GHRM-40210.

I have applied for SP Jain nov 2009 intake. My application no. is 40877- PMM.
I have a work-ex of 26 months (with 3 months of onsite experience), 91.86%le in CAT, 86% in 10th (ICSE), 88.2% in 12th (ISC), 73% in B.Tech. (U P Technical University, Lucknow), but my application status shows me the following-

Wait List - Initial Screening

"Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapore's GMBA (November 2009 intake) program. We are in receipt of your application and on screening the same we find you falling short on some of our admission criteria due to which we have kept you on our waiting list. Periodically (there is no specific time frame for doing so - it is done as and when the need for doing so arises) this list is reviewed and students moved to the evaluation process. Please check this website at intervals to ascertain if there has been any change in your admission status"

Please tell me where I am falling short in the criteria.

Everything seems fine in your profile but maybe your workex might be a bit on the lower side and that could be the reason for your being waitlisted.

pls note the waitlist is reviewed from time to time and students found suitable are shortlisted for evaluations.

However I am still clueless about what to expect in the evaluation. I would really appreciate if anyone of you can help me on this.

Also, since I am from Delhi, I will be reaching Mumbai on 15th, I am unsure abt the locale, if someone can help me on that too... it would be a great help.

I have a total work ex of 4 yrs.
1 year in Mechanical and 3 yrs in IT including 10 month work ex at onsite (Singapore) also.

Today i have received my SPJAT(held on aug 1) score and got 72%.
Considering my work ex and the SPJAT score(which is below your cuttoff criteria) is it possible that my application will be considered ?? I want to do my MBA in Banking management/IT only.

Please let me know the criteria so that i can act accordingly.

You can book a hotel in the vicinity of the airport as S P Jain is also nearby. Try booking with makemytrip.com or some other travel website. They will give u good deals.
