Hi Shweta, I had applied for IB and had my evaluation on 27th Sept. I am too confused as I havent recieved any official mail since then.Also, the website shows that the admissions for Dec intake have been closed and The page cannot be found. Does this mean its a reject??:icon_cry: or Is there any chance of me being in the waiting list or getting into next round.Where can i check my status?

Thanks for answering my last query. As you know, I have been called for interview on October 12th. But I am unable to access my final application form online to review it before going for interview. I know there was a provision to access it with my user id and password earlier. If you can just let me know the exact link where I should access the application form, as I am unable to locate it on the website after repeated tries. Please help!!

The online status link shows "page cannot be displayed" due to some technical issues our site is facing. Pls bear with us as we are trying to fix the problem asap.
Admissions are closed only for applicants - we are not accepting any more applications. However we are still evaluating students and have the last round of evaluations on this weekend.

Since the duration between final date of submission and evaluation date is very less,
1) Can you tell me if there would be one more round of evaluations after the 12th for those who submitted on the last date?

In my panel Interview, the 2 people asked me only one ques "why do u want to do a MBA" and " who is a person u admire a lot and why" I replied saying that I want to do MBA beos I want to have the right balance of technical know how and ppl mgmt skills & I admire Mukesh Ambani for the same. It lasted fr 5 mins and I wasnt called for the Dean's round

THe evaluations held on the 11/12 of OCt 08 was the lat round for the Dec 08 intake. Students who applied on the 6th and were shortlisted received a call on the 7th of Oct 08 itself.
There will be no further rounds of evaluations for the Dec 08 intake. students who have not heard from us till now may reapply for the April 09 intake when we open for admissions for the same

It is very unlikely that students who do not go for the Presidents interview would be offered admission.

All I can say is I shall apply again for the Apr intake since Im pretty determined to get a MBA degree. But yes, thanks so much for talking at that time wehn I most needed it!!

Hi Shwetha, My application number for the December 08 Intake is 25248 - IT. I had appeared for the interviews on August 30th and have been waitlisted since then. Its been a long long wait since then and my status remains unchanged. When is the final decision of the admission team expected to be out on the same? And also will the status be updated to Reject if I dont make it, or will it just remain unchanged as a Waitlist.
Additionally I scored a 97 percentile on the SP Jain Aptitude Test. Would this score remain valid if I wish to reapply for the immediate intake in May or does this score become defunct once the admissions for the December intake close.
Hi Shweta, My application no. is 27170-SM applied on 19th Sep shows the following satatus for past couple of weeks on the website.
"Thank you for the interest shown in S P Jain, Dubai-Singapore's GMBA (December 2008 intake) program. You have been short listedfor evaluations. Once an evaluation date is firmed up by us, you would be getting a call for evaluation e-mail giving full details of when your evaluation has been scheduled for. If you do not get the same within a reasonable period of time, we suggest that you mail us on [email protected]. Post your evaluation, we suggest you check this link to check on the result of the evaluation process. It would take us 2-3 weeks post your evaluations to update the site with your status."
I was waiting for a correspondence from your end (as stated on your site), but i did not get any Email or call for an evaluation schedule. I have also written to [email protected] asking for a schedule.
Today i see you have closed admissions without even considering my application after shortlisting me. Is it because i applied too late i.e 19th sep? Or i should wait for a schedule form your end?
Would be great if you can look into it and let me know my exact application status.
