I am planning to write my GMAT in January 2016 and looking for admission into 2017 MBA programme.
Could you help me with the dates of application deadlines and other timelines so that I can adhere to that timeline and move forward. Also, what kind of score should I be looking at?
I have 11 years of work experience. I have worked with a reputed global MNC for 10 years. I have more than 5 years of people leadership experience - 2 years as Team Lead and more than 3 years as Project Lead. I currently lead a team on 15 members. I have customer interaction/onsite experience in US (7 months), Europe - 7 countries (3 months) and Asia(2 months).
I took GMAT on 25th and am still working on SOP. I am planning to complete it by 31st. For LOR, I have talked to the people whose recommendation I have to take. But what i understand is that emails to them will be sent only when I submit my online application. If I submit the application on 30th when will the email reach the recommenders and how much time will they have to send the recommendation email. Are the LORs required to reach before 31st or they can reach few days late also?
Is there a format and an email id to which the referee can send recommendation directly.
If the LORs have to reach before 31st then is there a way to trigger the email to recommenders now so that they can send their recommendations on time and I can continue to work on my SOP?

I am looking for IT consulting roles post MBA..i have 2 years of IT experience plus a startup venture...i want to know my chances in SMU and the ROI factor..
