Hello everyone, I have a query. Got a reject today from xlri which I had high hopes for. My remaining options are sibm with waitlist 42 and iift with very low chances of conversion. I am not keen on marketing and would like to go for finance or operations (leaning more towards finance). I didnot go for NMIMS as the fees were too high and I didnt feel it was worth it. So at this moment, according to placement scenario at these 2 colleges, which one should I go for if I convert both ? And If i only get sibm pune, which specialization should i go for ?

Why pay the entire Application fees, when you can save on it!
if u r going to release ur 2nd list on june 3rd ,then what about the subsequent lists?do i ,with a slightly big waiting list no of 170s, have to wait for 2 months more to get clarification from their side? i already have a college which is going to start on june mid...plus most of the top colleges have already released their results..then why this much delay ??it's not like nobody has left this college for the other ones..what are u trying to hide???and plz don't tell me that none of the people from the 1st list haven't left

Seeing the continuous delay in waitlist. What are the chances of movement of waitlist ?
Adcom, this is some serious shady work from such a renowned institute. Many people have withdrawn their seats by now as many College results have been published, yet the 2nd merit list keeps on getting postponed for unknown reason. I request the admission committee to be a little more transparent and mention how many calls were rolled out this year so that people can gauge their chances accordingly. If buffer calls were given (or increased) this year, the institute must mention it as many aspirants (with low WL) leave their jobs and other admission offers in the anticipation of clearing the wait list. Atleast please mention why there is such delay in 2nd list!
i have lost all my hope of getting a convert becuase of this nonsensical delay..and am not going to open this group anyomore not even on june 3rd because they are going to extend the date then too..perhaps i should focus on whta i have rather than what i don't..

Out of all the Bschools SIBMP's process is the worst, you literally can not do anything but wait you can not see the waitlist , there is literally zero transparency.
