There is no specific answer to your question. Firstly, we don’t know who you will be sharing a room with, and secondly, we don’t know what kind of people you feel comfortable with.

In the first year, rooms are allotted on a first come, first serve basis. If your friends are joining you, you can request to share the same room when you report to the campus. This way, you can have a choice in selecting your roommate. Otherwise, rooms are randomly allotted.

At the end of the first academic session, students are given the opportunity to participate in the hostel polling if they are interested in changing their room. Many students take part in the polling if they want to switch rooms for any reason. You can find the dates for the polling on the UMS announcement. Based on availability, you can book your preferred hostel room, and after the polling is completed, students are assigned their rooms.

LPUNEST is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. The qualifying marks for LPUNEST are 30-40%.

For admission to MBA at LPU you need to qualify for LPUNEST and should have at least a 55% score in graduation. After qualifying for LPUNEST you need to appear for an interview. The candidate can get an exemption from LPUNEST subject to qualifying CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT.

To avail scholarship, your LPUNEST score must be more than the cutoff at that time. LPUNEST Cutoff is the minimum marks applicants need to attain for admission at LPU. The cutoff is dependent on the number of candidates, number of vacant seats, and marks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam cutoff of last year.
