ADMISSION PROCESS

The institute seeks admission for the five Post Graduate Diploma in Management courses; PGDM General, PGDM Finance, PGDM Research and Business Analytics, PGDM Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and PGDM E-business for the batch 2024-26.

For eligibility, following criteria must be fulfilled:

  • The participants must possess a bachelor’s equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognized university in India or abroad (recognized by the UGC / Association of Indian Universities) with minimum 3 years of education after completing schooling 10+2 system or equivalent.

  • Candidates appearing for their final year of their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent can also participate, given that they submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/institution certifying that the candidate has obtained 50% marks or equivalent based on latest available grades/marks.

  • All candidates must appear for Common Admission Test (2023) scheduled on November 26, 2023 or Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2024) scheduled on January 7, 2024 or should have a valid GMAT score in a test taken between October 1, 2023 and January 15, 2024.

  • Foreign students, PIO and NRI sponsored candidates are also eligible and are required to take the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) at a test centre outside India, between October 1, 2023 and January 15, 2024.

  • All candidates are also required to register with LBSIM, Delhi through a separate application form available in the brochure or through the link with the payment of Rs.2000/-: https://forms.lbsim.ac.in/

    The application form along with the brochure can be availed from Admissions Coordinator, Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Delhi on all working days at LBSIM Dwarka Campus on payment of Rs. 2,000/- in cash/ Demand Draft/PayTm from October 1, 2023.

Dr. Rekha Gupta is a distinguished professor of Information Technology at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management in Delhi, India, with over two decades of teaching and research experience. She earned her Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, a renowned central university in New Delhi. Her primary research interests lie in the fields of IT implementation challenges, critical success factors and selection models for ERP systems, multicriteria decision-making techniques, and more.

A double postgraduate, Dr. Gupta holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science from the Institute of Electrical and Telecommunication Engineers in New Delhi and an M.S. in software systems from BITS, Pilani, India. She completed her undergraduate studies at NIT, Bhopal. Her teaching expertise encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including object-oriented programming fundamentals, artificial intelligence, blockchain programming, Python programming, machine learning, Linux programming, and multimedia technologies.
