The shortlisting criteria includes CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, prior academic performance, awards and accolades, extracurricular activities, work experience (if any) among others. Additionally the selection completely depends on the pool of candidates applying for admission. Based on these criteria, you will be shortlisted. It’s upto your discretion to apply.

These are a few PI strategies that you might use during your interviews.
Present yourself well: First impressions are formed by 7% of what you say. 38% of your eloquence and confidence, 55% of how you dress, act and walk through the door.
Know your skills and strengths: Be able to talk about your strengths, most proud accomplishments, areas of interest, personal values and areas of development.
Answer as honestly as you can: At times, the interviewer may ask specific personal questions. In that case, be frank, be honest about your intentions, your opinions and avoid being too diplomatic in answering the questions.
Use S.T.A.R format: a good answer to behavioral questions includes stating the situation, task, action and result

I have applied to lbsim at 91 percentile with course preferences as follows
Pgdm - fm, Pgdm - general, rest all
In my result and pi call letter i have been shortlisted for all except Pgdm general…where as my friend at same profile and percentile got shortlisted for all the five branches of Pgdm i.e. including Pgdm general too
So why not I am shortlisted
Please guide me into this
