What was the cut off of PGDM FM programme last year through CAT and XAT?

Hi, what are the placement stats for LBSIM this year, & when is the last date to apply the PG?

Hello Ayush
The cutoff varies every year depending on the pool of candidates applying for the course. There is no specific cutoff for each course individually.
Last year the cutoff range for CAT & XAT for all 3 courses was 80-85 %ile.

Do i have a shot at any of the courses at LBSIM, preferably finance?

I was skeptical about the concept of a virtual internship but my two months journey with Asian Paints paid off in ways I never expected.

Since the onset of internship, the talent acquisition team smoothly ushered into the virtual set-up. The interactive sessions organized with different experts provided us a holistic view of the organisation’s work culture.
Besides guidance by crucial stakeholders, self- learning and self-development were always encouraged. This honed my understanding of the problem statement and also to come up with innovative ideas and valuable insights from the data at hand.

To sum up, it was a near dream first corporate experience for a fresher such as myself!

Here comes another exciting revelation about the placement insights from Tanmaiy Bhateja who got placed with Hindware.
My PGDM journey at LBSIM was full of fun and learnings. From doing things right to doing the right things, I learned quite a lot in LBSIM. To value things beyond resumes and to understand people from a perspective beyond their career advancing abilities.

I feel delighted to share that I have completed my internship with Marsh India. It was a great experience as I got to intern with the world’s leader in insurance broking and risk management. I got an opportunity to work with the Placements team wherein I got to learn about the process of placing policies at Marsh and the various stakeholders involved. I got to work on multiple projects which were both challenging and insightful. During my internship with Marsh, I learned about the Marsh work culture, the importance of Time Management, Data visualization, and analysis, the importance of clearly defined process flows in any project, and team dynamics. I’m grateful to LBSIM and Marsh India for giving me such a wonderful opportunity.

LBSIM, New Delhi is happy to share a page from Summer internship Diary of its student Rohan Chanda who has interned with Marsh.
