My SIMSR interview was something I have never ever experienced. The panelists were damn friendly and made me feel as though I was talking to my friends. I was asked no question on my academics. The questions were as follows: 1. Why are you wearing a tie? 2. Why did you do your graduation in distance mode? 3. Why do you wanna pursue Management education? 4. What was the last movie you watched?? Explain. 5. Last book read. And my interview was done. I was extremely tensed for this CDPI because SIMSR is my dream. CD was a bit messy. But the PI was amazing. I hope I convert the call. Fingers crossed.

While applying I missed to fill my extra curricular and co curricular activities. Now I don’t have option to fill the information in profile form. What should I do ?
3rd March, ILEAD Foundation, Kolkata We reached around 1.30pm. First 1 hour they took for registration process. Only thing they are checking are your candidate profile and photo id proof. You need to sign on one sheet and sit for your next turn. Another 1 hour, they shown us LIFE @SIMSR. It's quite motivating, followed by introductory words by faculties, alumnus and current student batch. Then @3.30pm, they divided us into 8 groups of around 13-14 people in each group for CD. Group 1 went for CD. And Group 8 started with PI. I being in the group 8. I had my PI first. 3 people from my group went upstairs for our PI. I was the first person to face the panelists. In my panel there were 3 people. 2 faculties and 1 alumni. P: So miss, introduce yourself. Me: Done. P: So why MBA? Me: Explained P: Being in TCS, you can switch your domain. Why do you need MBA degree for that? Me: Done P: What does extraversion mean? Me: Explained P: Why and how do you consider to be one? Me: Explained. P: Have you met any group in life who didn't like you or you didn't like them. Me: Answered. P: What do you do in free time? Me. Told them about my hobbies. Cooking was one of them. P: Last new dish you made: Me: Done P: Can you tell me the recipe as I think it's a new dish for me and what made you cook something like this. Me: Answered P: Few things related to politics and current affairs. Me: I have absolutely no relation with current affairs apart from Pakistan related news. (They didn't grill me regarding this after that) P: What else do you like? Me: I mentioned travelling, music, guitar. They a asked few questions related to these. And then they asked if am a party freak girl. Overall my interview was on a chilled side. CD- Group 8, topic was Success at what cost. We were given a case study to analyse for 3 minutes. For discussion 12 mins and then at the end 30sec to each one of us to summarize. Overall entire process was lengthy but it was fun interacting with them. They are charging you for anything that is coming out of your mouth. So be prepared before you utter anything. Wish you all the very best. Enjoy. #cheers

I find a hard time in figuring out the venue for CDPI process @ chennai . The venue mentioned in the CDPI letter was Madras Management Association

Tamil Nadu
But the address given in google maps for Madras Management Association is New No:240, off, Pathari Rd, Anna Salai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600006 . There is conflict here as both the land marks are located 3-5 km apart. Can anyone from adcom help me out here.

If a candidate has 96 in CAT and 95 in XAT how and which of the 2 scores will be considered?

There was document verfication & presentation.
For CD,there were around 15 people and 20 minutes.Cases ain't that straight forward.
In my group there was one dude who started shouting the moment CD started,he kept shouting through out CD(dude,if you reading this - fcuk you)
He ruined the entire CD.
PI was great,panel had 3 members.
Overall,the process was very smooth & AdCom folks were always there to help!
