Congrats 4 scoring good percentile in cat.First of all please let me know have you applied for the JBS or not. This time JBS has not given any specific cut off of CAT/MAT for filling the form. Its all depends on the number of applications received. In my opinion you can expect the call for GD/PI as you have some work experience also.so keep your finger crossed and hope for the best. The fee structure is 2.4 lacs per year excluding hostel. You have to deposit some amount for the study material also.

For the deemed university status the case has been filed by our university in the supreme court. The hearing is going on. For more clarification you can read the message of our vice chancellor at www.jiit.ac.in.

why r u worried so much for the accommodation. There are so many flats and PG available in Indrapuram which is near to college campus.Don't take tension for the accomodation.::banghead:

I heard about the deemed status of the university been suspended for over 2 years.. also I got to know that almost two passed out batches have faced problems to get their degrees and Convocation ceremony..
Clearly this college doesn't leave an individual with a positive impression.
Agreed, this is a good college in terms of Infrastructure, most of the batch gets placed in the Jaypee group itself, but they often complain about the career progression and options outside the group.

In my opinion farmer is absolutely wrong.On Feb 19 college is organising alumni dinner to discuss for the convocation. As far as the status is concerned the case is going on in the court.Its the case of all the 44 universities and to clarify this matter u can easily contact to our VC.
Lets come to the placement, for the first two batch it was like this that the students only gets placed in Jaypee now the time has changed. Yestarday only 6 students got placed in Genepact and Ceasefire. And many bigger brand yet to come like Honda etc.
The placement is getting much better from year on year. Due to recession this time lesser number of companies had visited as compared to last year. But till your time it will get much better.
If anyone has any query regarding the status of university they can clarify it form VC or on the day of GD/PI. second option is to go through the VC message available on the wesite of JIIT.

There are around 180 seats available. The GD/PI is related to current topic so keep on reading newspaper its depends on the type of group. Regular reading of newspaper would help you in cracking the GD/PI. Best of luck.
