The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at IRMA on August 15, 2019.
IRMA Director Prof. Hitesh Bhatt hoisted the national flag and addressed the entire IRMA community gathered near the famed Amul Carillon Chimes.
The event also saw staging of a vibrant street play “Jal Vaani” that presented various facets of the cause and effect relationship leading to water scarcity. More emphatically, the play presented the socio-economic dimensions related to the on-going water scaricty while urging individuals to use the precious resource efficiently.
It was presented by the students of the 40th batch of the PGDRM under the banner of IRMA Natya Manch (INAM).

IRMA is now accepting applications for its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM). The last date for submitting completed applications is January 10, 2020.
IRMA will be shortlisting and calling applicants in two ways:
1. Merit-based Calls: Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT 2020 and GA and PI process.
2. Profile-cum-merit based Calls: Candidates who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 and fall in the Profile-based call criteria will be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process. The key criteria to shortlist candidates based on profile are: (i) Excellence: Graduation from Top universities and Colleges, (ii) Work Experience in Social Impact, Community Development, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied sectors; (iii) Graduation in Social sciences, Development studies, Agriculture and Allied sciences
Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection process at IRMA where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2020 (IRMASAT 2020), Group Activity and Personal Interview. IRMASAT 2020, GA and PI process will be conducted at IRMA.
