Do IIM’s usually release merit lists after registration date, if sufficient seats are still vacant ? or registration date is the closing of admission cycle ?

I’ve converted MBA T&HM at IIM Sirmaur and got the confirmation e-mail on 27 Jun regarding the same but I’m stuck in a serious dilemma as I was having the least amount of hope earlier regarding the conversion and now I’m already enrolled in an another institute and paid the fee…can anyone tell me what should I do now?
