i am not able to understand that even if last date is 20th feb,how come many have got calls before the deadline for submission of forms.plz clarify anyone..i havent got any call

Hello all. I have a couple of queries. Will appreciate if anyone could help me out.

1. I applied a day after the "last" date of form submission. My money was cut and I got a confirmation mail as well. Will my profile be considered or no???
2. I have 77%ile in cat with a more than 3 years of work exp. Will it fetch me a call from Ngp??
3. What is the average package that a work exp candidate gets after he passes out from the institute???

@PGpuy The institute does not wait till the last date to give calls. It gives calls on rounds. You are not late. Applicants are shortlisted also on the basis of CAT and other scores.

@MyriadFreak You will receive a mail regarding the date and venue of the gdpi if shortlisted. As far as updation of scores is concerned, no mails are sent from the institute to inform you. It is your responsibility.
During the GDPI, a case will be given to you on the basis of which the discussion will take place. This will be followed by interview where questions pertaining to ur grads, work ex will be asked.

@mrugank If you have got a confirmation email, YES, ur application has been considered.
You have good chances for a call at that score.
Avg package has been 6 lacs till now. The placement season is still in progress.

@mrugank You will get an email. You must follow up by simply being present on that date and venue. Dont forget to carry ur documents and call letter.

i beg to differ...wasnt mentioned ne wer on the website or while applying to the institute...Also wen the CAT scores r fetched from the parent, y the procedure differs for XAT...
Have no problem the change of rule, but a intimation wld have been appreciated...i came to knw abt updating the scores throu pg..what abt ppl not on pg...

@hemantnaidu It is mandatory to present your originals at the time of GDPI. You can anyways contact the admission office regarding the issue.

@mailns CAT scores of the applicants are automatically supplied to the institute through your CAT ID's which you fill in the application form. This is not the case with other exams.

@priya1s There is nothing to solve. By case I mean any article pertaining to current affairs or any burning issues. You need to read them and discuss.
