i have converted pgdm-f, my second option after pgdm gen as per the form... i will be lookin for other results unless i get pgdm gen. so to wait for an upgrade should i pay the fees or not..? earlier i saw posts that said once the fees is paid the option gets blocked and the candidate wont be considered for an upgrade, and the only option left will be to leave with a refund, whereas if one doesnt pay the fees then only he has chances to be considered for an upgrade. now here bahaduriarchit has quoted that the candidate becomes ineligible if the fees is not paid. i need to know which of the above is true..

i have got an offer from IMT-hyd..i dnt want to join..!!! i want to be in the wait list of IMT-Nagpur...is it possible??? if i dnt join IMT-Hyd..can i get IMT-Nagpur later???

PGDM fin, mkt genral are all considered as equally good courses by the college .. Thus there wont be an UPGRADE.. but yes we can change the course we are offered. It can only be done by joining the college and after the first term(subjected to availability of seat to the course u opt). However the PGDM f course which ur offered right now is no different from PGDM general if ur going to choose fin as one of the dual specialization in the second year.

How is the option of Sabbatical Leave for ppl with work-ex ? Will they be allowed to sit in campus palcemnts...?

Depends on company policy. Try talking to your senior authorities about what post / profile & package they will offer you after your MBA. Whether they meet your expectations or not. Compare with the placements of the college. Asses yourself, where do you want to see yourself after MBA from xxx college. Does your company offer the same to you?
You ll be eligible for placements but you can't avail it sa you will have to go back to your company.
If you decide to take a Placement offer and join then, it would go against the sabbatical undertaking given by you to your company

@Hari.Rajai ..It is always advisable to take Finance in good B school, i think both the colleges u mentioned above comes under C category college so finance wont be good anywhere .Better take marketing and stay safe,...

@itu1504 No one can assure that u get a change in a course as its subjected to availability. Marketing can be taken as spl even with PGDM fin. its just that u should choose one spl as fin.. u can very well choose other as marketing.
