i hv 2.5 yrs of work experience....in a leading consulting company.....b.tech in applied petroleum engineering.....earning 5.6 Lakh....CAT score 89.25....i hv 2 questions:
1. i got a call from IMT N....shud i go for the GD/ PI??? is it worth????
2. does an executive MBA hold the same value as a 2 yr MBA? shall i wait and apply for an E-MBA somewhere else???

@willsclassic i dont think ther is direct ccnnectivity. you will have to change from rajiv chowk most probably.. for exact info. you can check the delhi metro website.

puys!!!i have some questions!! plz sm1 take initiative to answer them!!1) i like reading novels but generally i read only love stories/romantic tales... should i mention it as a hobby?
2) i did my BBA and want to do MBA in HR.... my favourite subject was also HR in clg. but unfortunately i scored low in that subject in semester exam. shud i mention HR as my favourite subject if asked in PI?
3) i like doing social service and often visit NGO's
(a) can i mention it as a hobby?
(b) is any certificate from NGO required to proove my work?
4) i had participated in group dance on 26th january 2005 for the function of republic day parade that happens every year at RAJGHAAT in new delhi. our group stood 2nd and i have certificate for that from govt of India. can i mention it as national level acheivement in extra curricular activities in personal data form?

1) you can mention reading as a hobby.. What genre of novels you like is your choice when asked of fav book or recent book read. you must be able to elaborate on it... however apart from novels reading news papers is one thing they look into seriously whether u read one or not u must mention some daily.
2)As long as you would be comfortable answering questions asked in your favorite area you can mention it.. But the question of why low marks would sure raise for which u must come up with a diplomatic convincing answer luring them to question u and feel that ur really strong in hr.
3) a) Social service make sure if it comes under hobby.. as direct meaning of hobby is "activity done in leisure time for pleasure".
b)Certificate would be a feather in ur cap but you wont be asked to prove tat u do social service
4)If there are not many other much recent achievements do fill it. something is better than nothing

@khushiii 1. u can mention reading books as a hobby. brush up your knowledge about the last 2-3 books you have read. have a cursory reading of those books and get some info. about the writers of those books.
2. you can mention hr as your favourite subject. but u should have some justification for the low marks in the same as it may come up during the PI.
3. you can mention it as your interest. it will be better if you produce a certificate.
4. i think you can mention it in your achievements. but i am not sure on this one though.

For those who have GD/PI center as IMT Ghaziabad & are coming from Delhi or Noida by metro.
Option 1 : Booking Auto
Get down at Vaishali Metro Station and book an auto till Raj Nagar.
Tell him to drop you at IMT.
Max Charge : Rs.160 ~ Rs.180/- [1 hour max]
Option 2 : Public Transport
Get down at Vaishali metro Station.
You'll find auto's which will drop you to Mohan Nagar.
Rs.10 ~ Rs.15 [30 minutes max]
From Mohan Nagar, you'll get an auto to "OLD" BUS STOP
Rs.10 ~ Rs.15 [30 minutes max]
From Old Bus Stop, you'll get an auto to Raj Nagar : IMT
Rs.5 ~ Rs.7 [15 minutes max]
