I think there will be changes. My reason being:
1) There are people who have rejected and so atleast some people would have received PGDM/Marketing offers but none received.
2) The option for making payment is through portal and due the ongoing problem, the result section is not available and same with the payment option.
How to know if waiting list has moved or not? Site p s result ni show ho rha and i received mail for dcp program but i didnt applied for that. Whats all this?
Ganda kat gya, jb DCP hi dena tha to phele hi de dete itna wait kara kr esa kar ke kya mila. Bhaiyo or bheno kisi ko marketing or core ka mail aya kya?? Aur agar DCP reject karenge to kya admission process se out ho jaynge kya??

Aaj k saare post dekhne k baad ye samjh me aaya ki almost 70+ se 400 tk sbhi waitlist walonko BFS dia h ,blki seats sirf 60 h iska mtlb bhut saari buffer calls di gyi h? Aise hi Marketing/Core bhi kisiko nhi aaya qki usme bhi bhut buffer calls di hongi..? kya lgta aapko

Finally after being active in IMT pg page for a while and going through the pages history:
Following things can be taken into consideration:
1. All the people in waitlist are put in finance or bfs.. so basically 500 students for some 120-150 seats of both the courses..now atleast those people who don't have any better option will in the end submitt the fees.
2. So, basically one can think of movement or getting offers after 12th june also.
3. Non-receipt of fees within the above given date will imply cancellation of provisional admission offer to both the PGDM (BFS) as well as PGDM (Finance). There is no mention of marketing/core so may be some of us will get it after 12th.
4. There is no response from ADCOM...Otherwise usually in every clg after some update in result Adcoms announces by themselves.
5. There is no update on dashboard.. so how candidates are going to pay
So, in my opinion bcz admission department have to move WL this week only so may be they rolled out offers for there less preferred courses in order to get there seats filled up....
And we should all wait for ADCOMS to make any official announcement.

For all those, who really looking for what's going to happen and what happened last year, regarding waitlist movement mystery in IMT G, go to pages around 145-155 and see the last year scenario. Hope that helps. Anyways adcom isn't responding properly on this issue.
IMT BFS or IMI PGDM Core??
See there is a line in the mail which directly says "Non-receipt of fees within the above given date will imply cancellation of provisional admission offer to both the PGDM (BFS) as well as PGDM (Finance)". So, only for these courses, i guess they are giving the option to students to choose bfs/fin or stay in the wl for mkt/core. Also, for the marketing selected guys the first fee payment deadline is 12th June, so any wl movement makes sense after that.

Update from Admission Office 1. There is no movement in the PGDM Full Time and PGDM Marketing program. 2. Candidates in the Waitlist, are offered PGDM Finance / BFS / DCP program as per their merit rank and profile. 3. PGDM Finance students might be given the option to switch to PGDM Marketing / Full time at a later stage, subjected to availability of seats. 4. PGDM BFS / DCP program will not be changed once allotted. 5. The deadline for the fee payment is mentioned in the offer letter. 6. The deadline for the refund is 25th July as per the AICTE circular. 7. To process the refund, the director’s approval is required. As the new director has joined the institute recently, there was a delay in processing the refund. The institute has already initiated the refund process for the people who have applied and it will be reflected in their bank account in a week. P.S. No wonder why IMT's name is going down. Aisa hi management raha inka to I really doubt what the future holds for IMT. Every year their level of discrepancy in increasing. Lagta hai agle saal interview ke badle lottery nikalenge. And, you know what, taking out lottery will be so much fair thing to do than what are they already doing. 😶
I was intrested in marketing, being waitlisted at 75 and personally knowing a few people who left IMT for diffrent colleges i believed that waitlist movement would happen quickly and i could actually convert. I'm not joining BFS, sorry IMT, bye.
I'd rather be rejected in the first place than being given a decent WL (within 100) no only to convert BFS later(which btw,wasn't even in my preferences) Absolutely unfair! I regret applying and wasting my money on the form.

Every institute prefers more capable aspirants except IMT Ghaziabad.I saw Pagal Guy pages 144-155 of IMT G's thread of last year,wherein people with W/L-700+ were surprised after getting an admission offer in Marketing/Core.The institute is planning for the same this year.They had certainly not mentioned this bizzare admission policy,earlier.
Guys, I firmly believe ,the institute has openly done a fruad with 100s of aspirants in the name of their "PROFILE" thing by offering B n FS(Even the once with Finance,are being kept in dark by saying "might convert Core/Marketing").Even the IIMs have a pre-announced admission policy wherin factors like gender and academic diversity are being specified.
We must do something to publicise this issue,either on Twitter or any other social media platform(Don't know whether this thing comes under the jurisdiction of any govt. authority) so that the institute gets it's necessary share of defamation.
Please provide the options for the same or start some initiative.
