I think most of us want the payment date to be extended due to COVID-19. Many of us have mailed them but to no avail. At this moment it is very crucial that most of us mail them regarding the problem so that they can realize the magnitude of the problem. In the WhatsApp group many of us have made a draft mail and mailed them as well. I am posting the draft here as well so that all of you can also mail them regarding the extension of payment deadline. Dear IMT Admissions Team, We would like to thank you for the opportunity to pursue higher education at your prestigious Institution. However, in lieu of the current lockdown situation till 3rd May 2020, we are unable to source the necessary funds to pay the installments. We have approached various banks including the ones mentioned on your website for education loans to clear the fees but in vain. Banks are functioning in minimum capacity and only providing essential services of cash transactions and NEFT/RTGS. No credit facilities are being entertained at the moment. In such circumstances it is very tough to make the necessary arrangements to pay the fees. Also, we would like to bring to your attention the circular from AICTE to all PGDM institutions directing the colleges not to insist on fee payment until further notice which is attached below with the source for your verification: https://aicte-india.org/content/important-notification-all-pgdm-institutes We would request you to adhere to the same guideline and defer the payments to a later date as specified by AICTE. Kindly note there are many of us who cannot fund the education without an education loan and inability to source that would mean losing our admission for which we have worked really hard. I am confused like many other students here I guess XIMB BM vs IMI PGDM vs IMT PGDM for Finance . Which one should I choose ? Focus is to get good roles in finance. Thanks in advance. 💓 Take care and please stay at home 🙏
At this time of crisis, instead of extending the deadline or reducing installment amount, they're sending reminder mails. What does this imply? Are they forcing us to pay? It's very difficult for a middle class family to pay through non-credit basis at this times. Guys, Everyone mail them addressing this issue. It'd be of great help. I'd request adcom also to raise the same issue to the office.
If the payment date was first extended because of the lockdown, then why is ADCOM not extending it with the extention of the lockdown. Bank representatives are bluntly telling us to try after lockdown period. Not everyone would be able to arrange 6.5 L without a loan that too in such situations. Seeing the current scenario there is no chance that the clases with begin anytime the proposed date. Moreover, when we were expecting an extention in payment deadline they are sending a remainder mail? Can anyone from ADCOM clarify us on this decision?
Seeing the shrinkage in economy in the next quarters and the kind of offer pullbacks by many big companies. Would the mba be a good choice this year, in such uncertain times? I get uneasy thinking about the summer placement scene? @adcom how is IMT planning to steer through these uncertain times

It would be great if the management understands the hard difficulties
we are facing and extends the date of fees payment instead of sending the reminder mails.

Donot take it in a wrong way, I really want to join imt but I am sure that I will definitely fail to arrange the fees by April 20th.
Hi All, We understand the situation as we also belong to the same family background as most of does. So know how difficult it is to arrange such an amount. We have already been in touch with the authority regarding the concerns of fees payment, and academic session commencement date and various other issues. So please, I urge to have some patience, please, in the current scenario. As this situation is new to all of us and we are finding ways to tackle the same. Moreover, the last mail was auto-generated. Already put in place, hoping to get lockdown over by now. IMT won't be crossing any line and do something that is illegal or unethical. It had always followed the rule issued the governing body and this time also it will be done in the same way as earlier. If we get any update, we will communicate the same. Important announcement regarding the extension of fee payment deadline:
Candidates who are facing the issues regarding the fee payment need to send a mail to [email protected] stating the valid reason for not able to meet the deadline.
The admissions office will validate your email regarding fee payment concerns and then send you a google form via email.
Only those candidates’ requests will be taken into consideration who receives the google form from the Admissions Office.
Note: Do not float the google form amongst yourselves to avoid any discrepancies in the process. Do not fill the google form if you have not received the email from the Admissions Office. Please adhere to the deadline of the google form given in the mail and provide all details accurately.

So i guess this year waitlist candidates don't stand a chance like last year 😕😕. Bcz everytime the lockdown increase some bunch of students will come and demand to increase the deadline( Which is perfectly fine ) & I don't think IMT will postphone its classes. What do you guys think??
If the deadline cannot be extended, is it possible to reduce the amount of fee deposits.
Generally how many students remain unplaced every year in IMT Ghaziabad and out of them how many are from DCP?
