I am given admission to PGDM - BFS. It is a new course? I could not find my WL no for PGDM - Marketing or Finance. What it implies? Can I be considered for Pgdm- M or F later? Is it better to wait or move on for other institutes?

How do I know for which program I've been waitlisted? First preference was PGDM full time at IMT G Other people seem to know for which program they have been shortlisted and how much waitlist is there for each program In my results tab there's no bifurcation There's just simply waitlist 31 that's it Which program and campus is it for?

Some common queries-
What is the difference between PGDM Full Time and PGDM Marketing/Finance?
PGDM Full time
You’ll get to choose your major at the end of the first year. You can choose from Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations. You can choose your minor from the same options.
PGDM Marketing/Finance
Your major is pre-decided as marketing/Finance, But you can still select your minor from Marketing, Finance, HR, Operation, Analytics, etc.
The syllabus is the same for the first year for Full time, Marketing, and Finance students.
After First year, Full-time students will join the students of their respective major i.e., If someone chooses marketing, he/she will study with PGDM marketing students and sit with them in placements also.
Note: You can switch from PGDM marketing to PGDM finance and vice versa after taking admission in college. It depends on the no. of students who want to change and the availability of seats in a particular specialisation.
PGDM BFS
PGDM BFS course is a very comprehensive, specialized and niche course in the BFSI sector. So if you're someone who's looking to make a career in this sector or if Finance generally interests you,it will be good course for you
Also, curriculum wise, subjects of only finance and banking are taught from the first year itself in BFS and in other PGDM Courses including PGDM finance there are common subjects containing operations, HR, Marketing etc
PGDM DCP
You’ll spend your first year in IMT Dubai and join with the 2nd year batch in Ghaziabad. Curriculum and placements are the same for PGDM DCP students and PGDM full-time students. They’ll also get a chance to become a part of committee/clubs in the 2nd year.
How much amount should be paid before the start of the academic year?
10.7 lacs i.e., the total first-year fees to be paid before the start of the college. After the registration fee of 3.5 lacs, 7.2 lacs needs to be paid. The details of the subsequent installments will be shared via email once you pay the first installment.
Are Hostel and mess fee included in 19 lacs?
Yes, 19 lacs is including the hostel fees and mess fees.
