I have recieved an offer for pgdm finance but my first preference is pgdm core. So will i be considered in future lists for upgradation of program ??
What I have seen yesterday, according to last year, the waitlist of imt moves in both direction. In the secnd list, some 600+ maybe upper 600 people will convert but they will mostly get dcp again. And there will also be movemnt of waitlist 1 to 250, but these people will mostly get bfs, few will get finance and very few may be marketing. Because 4th april tak zada clgs ka reslt nehi ayega, so 99 98 wale jinko core or marketing mila woh leave nehi karenge....jinka waitlist 300s mein hai, they have a high possibilty to get core or marketing...because they will convert in the 3rd or 4th list and tab tak baki reslts bhi ayenge (IIMs and all) and marketing and core seats bhi khali honge....isiliye IMT ka waitlist itna complicated hai...I think 300 to 450 is the ideal waitlist number to convert core and marketing.

Does everyone get a waitlist? I got shortlists from IMT-G DCP and all of IMT-N and IMT-H. How do you come to know whether you're waitlisted for any program, is it displayed in the result section (where I have been checking) of your IMT profile page or somewhere else?
I have been allotted provisional admission in PGDM Finance (which was my first choice) at IMT Ghaziabad. Is there any possibility now or during college to switch to PGDM Marketing or Full Time ??
