The tentative date for the final merit list is the first or second week of April. There is also a waitlist for the candidates which gets converted depending on the number of seats available and the number of students who withdraw their admissions.

As per the last year thread there are two types of waitlists, final and priliminary. Can you state the difference b/w the two? Do we get to the final waitlist only after the payment of 75k?

As stated by our honāble DG in the briefing, a sum of 75k needs to be submitted to confirm your slot in waitlist. In that case:
a) Is the amount adjusted in our 1st term fee if we get selected?
b) Is it refunded if we do not get shortlisted? Also, what is the timeline for the refund process? -
What is the timeline for the waitlist?
Please resolve the queries before the list comes out, Iām sure other students might have something similar to ask. Itāll be really helpful. Thanks!

I got an offer from IMI delhi HRM. is it the final offer? or there is a waitlist for other courses loke bfsi and core? please help me out. i need to pay the fees accordingly
What if we convert through waitlist but withdraw afterwardsā¦would the 75k amount still be refunded? And the waitlist number is for which programme?

Final waitlists are the ones that comprise of the candidates who have paid the said amount (The amount required to be paid for staying on the waitlist). Yes you will receive a final waitlist number only after you pay INR 75,000.

The amount paid for the waitlist will be adjusted with the first term fee if you convert IMI New Delhi. The entire amount will be refunded in case your waitlist isnt converted into a final offer. The refund process will take place as per the AICTE guidelines, and the bank involved in the transaction. Usual wait time is expected to be around 10 business days, however, as seen in past, refunds have been processed much earlier.

The amount will be refunded in accordance with the AICTE Guidelines in case of a withdrawal after accepting the offer of admission.
The waitlist letter will have the name of the course for which you have been shortlisted.
