Apologies for the delay. Here is the gist of the Final Placement Report of the pioneer batch 2015-17.
IIM Sambalpur is pleased to share the successful completion of the final placement season for the batch 2015-17. IIM Sambalpur has achieved 100% final placements, with three students getting Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), one opting for higher education and one opting out of the placement process. The batch of 45 participants saw an overwhelming industry response, as they received 51 offers from 29 companies. We express our gratitude to our recruiters and look forward to establish a strong and synergetic relationship.
Placement offers came from diverse domains such as Marketing and Strategy, Business Development and General Management, Consulting and Strategy, Finance, IT and Analytics, Operations, and Sales & Marketing. Students received coveted roles and niche profiles in sectors such as BFSI, Telecommunication, Information Technology, Education, FMCG, Consulting and Strategy, Operations and Logistics and Social Sector, with the highest number of offers being from the BFSI sector. The top 10 percentile of the batch received a package of 12.82 LPA, the top quartile of the batch was offered a package of 11.18 LPA and the average package of the batch stood at 9.15 LPA. The top half of the batch received a package of 10.21 LPA. Prominent recruiters were SBI, Deloitte, Hero Group, Birla Sun Life Insurance, Infosys, TCS, Weikfeld Foods, Patanjali, Photon, Reliance Jio, DCB etc. Thus, concluding the placement season for the pioneer batch of IIM Sambalpur.
According to the conversation with the Admissions Office of IIM Indore : The Admissions of IIM Sambalpur will start only after Admission process of IIM Indore is completed.
Also the Admissions Office has communicated that Conditional Offer Letters' mail will be sent to shortlisted candidates latest by next week.
When will the session begin?? Does not starting the session so late hurt the 2 year schedule?? Wilill not summer internships start late?? And also it will hurt the quality of students admitted as it will the last iim to declare @vivek_IIMSBP
When the admission list is going to be released? Already I have been offered admission by 3 IIMs and deposited 50K for IIM Sirmaur. 10th is the last date for withdrawal. I am eagerly waiting for IIM/Sambalpur result and if that happens by 10th i can decide withdrawing or not from IIM Sirmaur. Seniors please help and respond.
Abhi thak criteria bhi naki nikli hai.Manmauzi hai bhai. Criteria nikal dene se to manmauzi nahi chalegi. Result bhi site par nahi denge taki kisi ko pata hi nahi chale ki kya khichadi paki hai.
