Adcom there is problem in result, WL number wahi dikhara, and there is movement though, please post WL movements for all categories.
For all those who are asking why didn't the waitlist move. Well, IIM Raipur saw no admission withdrawal and all those offered accepted the admission. This is because of high demand among students to get into IIM Raipur. Being the top MBA institution that it is, students are opting Rapiur instead of A,B and C. Thanks and all the best for your future endeavors.
Did anyone recieved the offer in 2nd list, am not going to post a poll as a recent skewed obc poll for Udaipur showed 150+ movements(in reality it was 0). So anyone who converted in this list( no matter which category) can you please post your category and pevious wl numberĀ

Admin please request you to reply , my previous waitlist no. Under NC-Obc was 434 and currently also it is 434 . Now i would like you to provide some insight as did the list actually move or the no.s are static... This is really getting on the nerves
Does anyone know last year waitlist movement for general??
For all the people asking for the buffer calls concept and why such huge buffer calls are given:-
1. Buffer calls are the calls given by each institute after analysing the previous trends of their offer acceptance and proper analysis of data so that the waitlists numbers are not very very huge and also to expedite the acceptance process and based on the notion that not everybody given the call will accept the offer.This is Ā not the first time it's happening, it happens every year and every year the movement happens And the same trend will follow this year too.No Ā need to make assumptions that the waitlist will not move at all.
2. Buffer calls are given by colleges to all the students in the merit list even after knowing that they will not take admission because they want to give a fair chance to each and every candidate to take admission In the college of their own choice and also to attract the bests of the lot.
3. The main reason why the waitlist is not moving as per your expectations because the chances are that people are not leaving the seats as the results of all the iims are released in a very short span of time and people are playing safe by Retaining it(previously the results of old iims,mdi,iift are released much early than new and baby iims).
4. This is not the first year that 0 movement is seen Ā across many categories,this happens every year and that too non uniformly(ie maybe the obc hadn't moved at all but general moved in this list but This doest not mean that the same will happen in subsequent lists).The waitlist movement is very unpredictable process,maybe their is no movement in the upcoming lists and all the movement is concentrated in the last 4-5 lists.
0 movement, and there goes my raipur convert vanishing in air š

In 2nd waitlist, Udaipur moved by around 400, Kashipur by something 600, what went wrong with Raipur? Will we see any movement in coming 3rd and 4th waitlist?
