Hi Admissions team,

    When will the classes start for this academic year ? .. Could someone tell me when the course commenced last year ?.. based on that I will serve my notice period in office ..

   Also, what is the difference between orientation class/preparatory class and normal course .. In all the new IIMs(RRRTUK) it has been mentioned that the orientation course begins a fortnight ahead of the normal course .!! . Is it mandatory to attend the preparatory course ? . .

Hello Seniors I have the same boring query. But would you pls help me out? CAT/10th/12th/Grad -- 99.22/92.2/81.3/67.3 Work ex till August 2015 (as mentioned in PDF of admission criteria) is 8 months and total of 14 months. GEM candidate. Essay and PI were average. How are my chances? Coz I don't have old iims call except Shillong and I didn't convert XLRI. So I'm tensed.

Hello everyone,

I made a mistake in mentioning my work experience in the CAT form. I mentioned it as 18 months but actually it is 12 months till 31st July 2015. I have already informed the admissions office of IIM Kashipur both on call and via email. 

Can it be corrected at this stage ? Should I also send an email to all other new IIMs or sending to IIM Kashipur is enough ? Any other measures that I should take ??

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Please excuse me for being naive, but I couldn't help myself from asking what exactly is the process of "CV making" in B-Schools and when is the CV prepared as this is the first time I'm hearing about it.

Could anyone please elaborate about it briefly?

Dear Admins, this might be a very silly and a trite question . But will by any chance the result for the new iims be out by next week i.e by 20th-22nd April . I am in a fix between 2-3 colls and have to pay my fees by then . Each of them will have quite a lot to be paid too . I know because even the professors in the interview told me may . But just wanted to know if there is a possibility @Akhildoos @Avi_1991 @Sukh4X4  .

I Just noticed that i have entered my grad % wrong in cat form its 77.2 i have filled 77.72, will this cause any problem if i get selected at time of verification and anything i can do to correct the same now ??

need your suggestions.

i'm a 2015 passout, joined in an IT company in nov 2015 and got fired by them in mar 2016(because i asked permission to attend iim interview and mentioned the same reason   ).  There are other IT job openings to try but I just don't want to go into IT field again, I'll give cat 2016 but by the time I attend interviews next year I'll have a comparatively low profile, I need your suggestions on how to improve it.

like any certification courses or any other options. I even am unable think properly right now please suggest something. thanks in advance.
