We dont have to pay that 50k on 19th June we will be paying that when we join offline classes also it is reduced to 25k as per today webinar
In webinar they were saying that they are not going to reduce the fees ...so we must write mail to UGC to issue guidelines for fees reduction...

If you analyse this year's placement report the mean salary is below the median salary. This is possible only when the skewness of the data is negative(as per statistics). In simpler terms it means that there are a number of offers made on the lower end, that is why the mean is below median. Also the highest package is not that high. Its only 13.6 LPA. Can anyone explain this discrepancy? I asked this question today in the webinar but they did not take it up.
This is my analysis. I might be wrong also. Please share your thoughts by commenting below.

Deposited 15,000 for waitlist.
Now depositing Rs 35,000 for booking admission.
case-1: what if i dont deposit balance 2.8lacs, then what amount shall be refundable. Refund rules will be applicable on Rs.35000 or 50,000 ?
Case-2 if i deposit full 1st installment , then refund rules will be applicable on Rs.3,15,000 or 3,30,000 ?
Is Rs.15,000 not refundable at all in any case. It would be great if u could answer case wise.Thanks.

hostel is compulsory for ifmr ?
This is a summary (as much as I could remember) of the webinar with Dean Ma'am for those who couldn't attend. 1. Online classes to begin from 1st July. Students who are yet to give their final semester exams will be given leave to appear for them. They have to submit the result before registration of 3rd trimester. 2. No revision of fees since the college has not increased it in the last 5 years. 3. Caution money to be reduced from 50k to 25k and this 25k will be paid only when we go to the campus. Initially on 19th June we will have to pay 50k as hostel deposit fee while the other 1L will be adjusted on pro rata basis on the no of days we stay at the campus. 4. In relation to people not being able to finance the loan from banks in time, the college has asked for a acknowledgement from the bank that the loan will be processed by a certain date and for this the student has to pay 22.5k as a token amount but the final decision rests upon the management. 5. The college has been able to place 183/185 batch students and are working very hard to place the other 2. They got 100% internship placements even in the uncertainty of covid as claimed by the management. some seniors also said that the support recieved from the college in terms of faculties and mentors has been amazing in relation to being in constant touch and motivation. 6. Students will be divided into small batches to make the classes more interactive. Also the seniors are planning some more interactive sessions once our classes begin. If I make a rtgs payment do I have to mail the details to the admission department and then they will acknowledge the payment or it will be automatic?
I just paid 35k through NEFT to retain my admission. Will I recieve any acknowledgement from the college regarding it? Or do I have to send the details to the administration office?
Is it true that out of 185, 6 are not placed yet? Also, for batch 2019-2021, 20% of the students are not provided any internship and they were left to do on their own ? Adcom please acknowledge this query..

Please tell how many people got 9 plus package before year. This is real things we need to know .I heard almost all will get 7.5 ,8 like package .and only if we get atleast 9 plus package it will be good for ROI..if below thta it's worst to pay 17 lac plus? Please give truth median statistics
