In any PI, your analytical and critical thinking skills are on the test. Your interview will mostly be based on your CV points. You could be asked about current affairs based on what your area of interest is. For example, regarding the fiscal deficit, you could be asked, “What do you mean by fiscal deficit? What impact does it have on the nation’s economy?” I hope this helps.
