Sourab Ghoshal from the Cohort of 2024 shares his desire to put his theoretical knowledge to practice. To do so, he got an opportunity to intern with JP Morgan as a Credit Risk Analyst. He further shares about his excitement to work with such a prestigious organisation. He aims to strengthen his soft skills and wishes to inculcate a culture of discipline relevant at workplace.
With the motive of understanding the challenges in area of operations and data analytics, Team Sanchalan and Analytics Club of IFRM GSB conducted “Logic-Verse” . The participants were asked to take part in a team of two. The event was composed of three rounds: the Quiz, the second Pictionary, and the final being the List-It. 84 Teams registered in total , and eight teams competed in the final round out of which three teams were declared as the winners. It was a fun filled and an engaging event.
The candidate has to meet all the eligibility criteria and Selection depends upon your performance in the GDPI round and the overall profile score of the candidate.

With relentless pursuit and perseverance to build a career in the financial sector, Bandi Sai Krishna got a summer internship offer from the prestigious Hedge fund firm D E Shaw. He shares his excitement and joy of getting an internship from D E Shaw in the financial operations domain.
We are happy to share yet another proud moment of IFMR-GSB. Shivangi Misra from the cohort of 2024 secures the position of 2nd runners-up at Mudra Bazar, the financial quiz hosted by the Finance and Economics club at IIM Sambalpur. Tackling questions capital markets, mutual funds regulators and derivatives, Shivangi was one of the 14 participants out of 737 who made it to the finals.
With a great spirit to achieve success, Shivangi says " With participants competing from various top tier B-schools if I didn’t believe in myself, this feat wouldn’t have been possible."

“Wisdom testing with a twist.” the HR committee at the IFMR GSB held a “Talent Patrol” event. This event was divided into two rounds to display the HR knowledge and skills.
The participants were split into groups of two for the first round, which was a fun Pictionary round with a spin on HR principles.
For the second round, the groups were given a set time frame to complete the Case Scenario provided by Team Synergy.
The event had exciting prizes, and it was definitely interesting while still being informative.
E-Cell of IFMR GSB conducted a two round fun event to encourage and celebrate an entrepreneurial mindset amongst students. The event saw a participation of thirty teams where students joined in teams of two.
First round was a Quiz Round. Questions centred on global business and entrepreneurship news were asked.The top six teams advanced to the final round, where they had to pitch a unique and abstract product that had been given to them.
Top three teams were declared as winners by the judges. It was a refreshing and a fun event.
