Hi, is shortlisting on the basis of CAT score done?

The students are not required to send their test scorecard.GIM does not accept exam scores from candidates. Scores are received directly from IIM, XLRI, AICTE.

Is PGDM-BDA Interview process for shortlisted candidates in face to face mode? Or few of them will be invited for face2face interview?

Hi, just had my interview with GIM, so puting this information out for any preparing for the process
Profile: 92/ 90.17/ 9.4
CAT: 90.16 %ile
- Tell me about yourself (at the end of my answer, mentioned an author and marketing head who influenced my desire to work in marketing)
- Who is this author and marketing head? What do you know about marketing in business?
- What other areas are there are in marketing?
- Did you study statistics in your graduation? What is the difference between mean and median? What is standard deviation?
- What is your role in your work? You did electrical engg but working in IT. Do you miss electrical? Does this job interest you enough?
- You said you’re interested in marketing. Market yourself.
- Two business news you read recently. Talked about IT layoffs and PVR Inox merger
- Do you think brick and mortar stores will become passé?
- Do you watch any sport? I said I watched the last FIFA world cup.
- Who won the Golden boot? Who came third? (Knew these) what is a Scorpio kick (didn’t know this )
- Questions about extracurriculars. Dance and a book you read recently.
Overall very pleasant interview.

GAAT results are mailed to us. But no interview dates with it. Does it mean that i am not shortlisted or the shortlisted candidates will be sent another email

Is there only personal interview or GD and PI both for regular round interview??
