How many people dropping the idea of joining GIM after NIRF thing???

Why anyone from management not ready to talk on NIRF thing? I mean one-third of the batch is unplaced. This is how you guys take your upcoming batch in confidence? I was happy that I converted GIM but now after this thing and no reply from management made me think twice on my decision. Shall we consider that this silence is truth itself? Speak up man!
Dear Aspirants,
We know a lot of you have been uncomfortable with the discrepancies in placement reports published by NIRF. Here is a detailed clarification by our Director, Dr. Ajit Parulekar:
Students and prospective students have drawn attention to the discrepancy in the number of students placed as well as salary figures mentioned in the NIRF report recently published and placement statistics published by GIM for respective years.
The difference is arising due to the method adopted by NIRF for the accounting of a job offer.
Companies offering jobs to a GIM student, in the past, have used any one of the following to communicate the job offer:
All job offers were given after due process, and were actually offers made to passing out students, irrespective of which of three modes of communication was adopted.
GIM has copies of job offers only for cases the document was shared with GIM.
NIRF changed its method for reckoning of job offers, and recognize a job offer only if the Appointment Letter document is available for scrutiny.
This has resulted in the final NIRF report showing a lower figure for both the number of students placed and the average salary than the factual position. There is a likelihood that other well-placed institutions also have similar differences. The final report of NIRF also differs from its interim report, which was on GIM website earlier.
Going forward, we will require all recruiters to provide GIM a copy of letter of offer, as part of our placement process, to avoid the recurrence of such anomalous situations.
We take pride in the transparency of our processes and full disclosures. We have placed NIRF report on our website as soon as it was available, despite the above discrepancy.
GIM stands by the facts and figures we have announced and specifically with all the Placement reports put on GIM website.
I trust this clarifies the figures in NIRF report depicting poor placements.
We would like all stakeholders to make an informed decision based on factually correct position, and ensure disclosure of all relevant details to present true and fair picture.
Regards, AdCom
