Clarifying the confusion about the payment of fee and extension of due date:
Anyone who requires an extension of the due date to pay the first installment, shall write to [email protected] and request for the same. The last date to request for extension is 15th June 2020. Once the mail is received by the institute, the candidate would be able to see a new due date in their QFix portal. No affidavit needs to be produced in this case.
Extension of the due date is only provided for the first installment. The due date for the second instalment would not be extended.
In case a candidate is in the containment zone, and is not able to pay the fees, or visit the bank for loan processing, he/she may produce the affidavit (given in the mail) and confirm his/her admission to the institute. The scanned copy of affidavit should be sent to [email protected] before 15th June 2020. It is preferred that the hard copy reaches the institute at the earliest. In case an affidavit is sent, the student has to pay the fees as soon as possible.
We apologise for any misinformation earlier and request you to follow these guidelines for fee payment and deadline extension.
In respect to the payment of fee and extension of due date -
Don't you think it's just not fair for the waitlisted students ??
The initial 2 lists were rolled out long back and ample time was given to them to pay the initial fee and yeah the undertaking option was already there .
Then the undertaking option for non serious waitlisted candidates .
This is just delaying and making things really difficult for the serious waitlisted aspirants .
Obviously the converted ones will go forward with extension of due date and take their fine time to analyze the other options and then decide by end of June which means no significant movement till then .Wow!!!
Just 3 questions-
1.Why didn't the institute roll out the offer letters to the converted students as and when the lists were out or immediately after the due date of first installment??How difficult was that ?(Just bothering the converted and waitlisted both)
2.If all other institutes are asking for installments and money despite falling under the same government guidelines then why can't GIM?
3.Why is the system so complicated and messed up ?No proper schedule ,no timeline ,no dates ,uneccessary extensions .
You are just losing out on serious and genuine candidates nothing else .

Seeing todays movement in PGDM one can't predict the final movement bcz... this movement is basically those guys that have not submitt the ACF i.e. 54000. & GIM mentioned that one needs to submitt the fees of 2 lkhs till 15th.
And also they can ask for extension for 2 weeks so the movement will come after 15th only and more will come after 29th june only.
Can you tell me if there was a WL assigned for non target programmes also which is only known to admissions team or should i only focus on my target program WL.Should be stop considering the second program and would only considered for target program.?
Are those WL (1-62) candidates who got admission offer today given the option of signing 'undertaking'? and
till when can they submit the amount (last date) to confirm the admission?
