Hi Adcom, How the document verification process take place? Will it be online like uploading softcopy? Do we need to have softcopy of all originals since the program is starting online. Is there any tentative date for document verifications?
@mitisaxena08 hey,other colleges for example Imt hyderabad are following totally different approach.
"The program is likely to start from 1st August.. However plans are being made to provide relevant subject wise teaching capsules from June onwards online so that everyone is better prepared before the regular sessions."
why GIM is pushing us all towards online mode of teaching? Mba is all about experience and exposure, how beneficial will it be to opt for something that is not gonna help us in the long run?

Dear Aspirants, Following announcement is posted on the website: Wait list position for all four full time PGDM programmes has been communicated to candidates who completed the steps for joining the Waitlist by due date. Candidates not offered admission/ wait list have been individually informed. We would like to thank all candidates for their interest in GIM, and welcome students of 20-22 batch to GIM community. We would like to receive and welcome students at the campus in the beginning of the academic session, as we have done for years, so that students can benefit from rich class-room experience and range of excellent co-curricular initiatives and interactions with fellow students. However, given the situation arising due to Covid-19 pandemic, on-campus joining and physical class-room teaching will depend on prevailing policies of Union and State government, and directives of the regulatory authority, as well as, the safety needs of the GIM community and larger society. To prepare for such an eventuality, we are also gearing up for offering induction and first term in on-line mode, as already shared with you. In case we have to resort to on-line option, the incoming batch of students will not pay for Stay (Hostel Fees) and Food (Mess charges) for the period of on-line classes. We have reviewed the fees for 2020-22 batch. Academic Fees payable for PGDM, PGDM(BDA) and PGDM(BFSI) have been reduced and are now same as fees paid by 2019-21 batch. Academic Fees payable for PGDM(HCM) remain unchanged, but are lower than fees payable for other three full-time PGDM programmes. Fees as finalized now, and approved by Government of Goa are on the website. By end of May 2020, we will intimate students with confirmed admissions offer, to pay the fees in instalments. First instalment will be around Rs 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs only), will be payable by mid-June 2020. Joining date has been indicated in previous update. I had applied for the refund by withdrawing from core PGDM on 22nd april by a mail, my dash board status was updated to withdrawn with in a week. When shall the refund get processed, any tentative date? Do I need to do anything else?
