Hi mbapulsar, our basic entry criteria is as follows:
A recognised bachelor’s degree (normally with honours not lower than Second Class or an average grade of not lower than B grade); or completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree
Minimum two years of full-time post-qualification work experience
English Language Proficiency test score with a minimum score of 6.5 for IELTS, 79 for TOEFL. If your degree was fully taught in the English, this requirement can be waived.
The employment rate after 3 months of graduation for CUHK MBA Class of 2022 was around 92%, with 89% students found job opportunities in Asia. 82% managed to change industry/function. The top industry destination for post-MBA jobs was financial services (36%), followed by consulting (11%), technology (11%) and media/entertainment (9%).
After you have submitted your application, there will be 2 rounds of interviews, 1st with our Assistant Director for Admissions and 2nd with our Associate Dean for MBA programmes together with one other faculty member. After the completion of all of the interviews, the result is normally released after 2 weeks.
The fee is at around US$77,500. Scholarship opportunities are available for outstanding applicants and it is recommended to apply earlier since there is a limit to the scholarship amount awarded during the whole enrolment year.
A 610 GMAT score is lower than our average GMAT intake score. However, GMAT score is not the only component that we evaluate as we look at an applicant’s profile holistically so you may still try to apply.
CUHK MBA offer 2 modes of study: Full-time and part-time. Full-time MBA is more suitable for overseas working professionals who plan to quit their job and devote their time and effort into their studies in Hong Kong while part-time MBA is more suitable for local work professional who plan to continue working while juggling with studies during the weekends.
