For PG Courses, the degree is given by College. For MMS, it is from Mumbai University. This is as far as I know.
At All India Rank of 2108, you stand almost no chance for MMS Courses at Top 5/6.
You could have chances for PG Courses of KJ & Wellingkar.
You could have some chances for GIM, Goa.
Suggest you to apply and then improve your score in Feb CMAT.. !!

Suggest you to think about preference later on.
Right now, apply to the colleges as there is a centralised process through DTE.
You need to apply separately to GIM. At a Rank of 601, you stand a good chance to get a call. ATB.. !!

As far as I know, there is no Quota for All India Seats in Maharashtra Colleges.

Tapmi doesn't accept CMAT Scores..
I suggest you to take Feb CMAT & improve your Score.
You could have Quota through CAT. Hope you have given CAT.. !!

You seem to be too much worried.
Relax buddy.
First of all, concentrate right now on your CAT Exam and try to do well.
You will get lot of time to think about Specialisation after your CAT Exam.
And that is something which depends on your Interest/Career Goals/Skills you have etc.
