At this Score, chances are very bleak.
I suggest you to apply if you are thinking to give Feb CMAT. Try to improve your Score/Rank.
I have got a score of 242 and rank is 1010 ..... 49 months of work ex (37 months of govt bank experience).... can i expect a call from GIM ....

Yes... you have a good chance of getting a call. However, if you want to improve the same, take the Feb CMAT and do better.
@Mangk2106 Thanks mangesh ..... surely will be giving again in feb and XAT as well ...... if we apply through both any disadvantage in that ....

Not at all. However, you need to apply separately for XAT as well as CMAT scores to be considered. You will get a call based on the best score. So if you are confident of getting in through XAT, go ahead and apply through XAT as well. Its all advantages.. no disadvantage at all.

I have completed my engineering from mumbai university so for jbims, k.j somaiya will I be considered a home student or other than home state student. I dont have domicile of maharashtra. Also what are my chances of getting any other good institute.

bhai sab chod ke domecile banva le koi fark nhe padta ke tune kha se eng. complete ke hai. but the fact that how many things will help you to get the domecile of mh. try kaise bhi karvale tujhe kj mil sakta hai

Check on the website of DTE.
On this Rank, you stand a chance for Colleges other than Top 4 of Maharashtra under DTE.
You also stand a good chance for GIM.

I meant avg placement statistics 
'' If an applicant does not complete all the requirements of his degree by 16th June 2013, or does not obtain 50% aggregate marks in his degree, the offer of admission made to him will stand cancelled'' ..............this is mentioned on GIM website
