Now obvoiously we cannot guess/challenge the Quant, LR and English scores as we donot have the final answers...
BUT for GK we certainly can guess how much we can score! I attempted 17 GK questions out of which 14 were correct when i cross checked the answers online after my CMAT .. So i was expecting a score of (14*4)-3=53 for GK..
To my surprise i got 24!! Now, for 17 attempts, we cannot have a score of 24 for ANY permutation combination of right and wrong answers... The closest one can come to the 24 mark is 8 correct and 9 wrong which gives (8*4)-9=23 marks!! This is more than enough proof that the results are either faulty or have been manipulated!
I seriously doubt the credibilty of AICTE ... At first they have wrong questions in the question paper and then they have wrong results declared!!
FRUSTRATED!!!
Anyone else has any such experiences please share so that we can make a case to AICTE together!!
@PatrickDsouza @avinashkrjha - have you come across any1 who has had similar problems? Please suggest what i should do next?

Sir,one of my senior told me that these newly opened branded institutes like IMT-Nag/Hyd,Narsee monjee-Bang/Hyd,IMI-kol/Bhubh,SIBM-Bang will have very bright future prospects in terms of placement & all as they have brand name with them and they will become one among top colleges in future.So he suggested me to take admission if in these colleges(if I am not getting top colleges).What do you advise me?Should I keep these as back up option?

Hi,

How do we apply for colleges like

1) Sydneham
2) KJ Som
3) Welingkar

I belong to OMS category with CMAT rank of 470. I could not find any application form for Sydneham on their website, which says that the entire admission process is managed by DTE.

With my rank and category do I stand to get a call for the above mentioned colleges?
Do I need to apply to Sydneham and KJ Som separately? If yes how?

Please help me answer both my queries.

@padwalamit i had 25 attempts in all 3 sections except GK.
How come my score be 95,51 and 55 in QA,LR and LS.. ??
Probably they had scaled it , hence the miscrepancy ...
15C and 10W make it 50 and 16 C , 9W makes it 55, either way 51 in LR is not possible...

This is what happened with me.
When i started my test, i started with the last section. After attempting some question i was sure of, I moved on to the third section.
After attempting one, or maybe two questions, there was an error on the screen which said, "THERE IS AN ERROR SAVING ANSWERS".
After seeing this error, I immediately called the invigilator who asked me to CLOSE the window i was taking the on and asked to restart my test.
I did as i was told, and restarted my test. I then continues my test.
When i saw a minute remaining in the clock, I let the time finish.
The next page that opened said, "THIS PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED" I immediately called the invigilator and she called someone else to take care of the issue.
He said he internet stopped working which is why im seeing this error.
While the rest of the students were completing their feedback about the paper, i was looking at a screen that said, THIS PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED.
After fifteen minutes or so, that person came into the room and told me i can leave the room because my scores have been sent. Believing him, i left the center assuming my scores have been received by the AICTE. But these marks, I'm pretty sure are incorrect. I believe my answers were not sent. Because my score reads, 0,0,-1,11.
The probability that i scored scored an exact zero in both the first, and the second sections in very very low. That can only happen if my scores have not been recieved
Does anyone know what can be done now?
