adwaitjw...Do outside Maharashtra candidates need to apply to DTE also after applying to the respective college?
Only for some courses (e.g. PGDM courses at KJ Som, Welingkar, etc.) u need to apply seperatly for each course. For all other colleges and courses (including MMS courses at KJ som, Welingkar, JBIMS, etc.) you need to enroll for centralised process conducted by DTE only. No need to apply to at respective colleges. Rather there is no provision to apply seperately for these courses. :)
@adwaitjw@avinashkrjha thanks but if i am just looking for a PGDM then what should I do? Apply to DTE or individual colleges. Also it would be really kind of you if you could tell me that if I can make it to KJSOM or Sydhenam with an AIR OF 797 in CMAT. I have a very strong profile.

@dkothariFor PGDM, you need to apply separately to college. It has got nothing to do with DTE.At a rank of 797, you do stand a chance for PGDM Courses of KJ-SOM.. !!
I guess Sydenham PGDBM comes under DTE... Correct me if I am wrong @avinashkrjha sir...:)
@avinashkrjha It will be helpfull if there a post sayin which set of colleges to apply with a cmat score or rank (range) .so it will usefull for aspirants.....
1. For MMS Seats of Maharashtra Colleges, one need not apply separately to colleges. There is a centralized GD/PI Process by DTE. So, you have to register for that. And then based on overall merit rank, you get colleges allotted to you in the cap rounds.
2. For GIM,
Last yr cut off score - 198/400
220+ --> Def apply
210-220 --> You may take a risk
3. GIM PGDM-HCM
The course is being started for the 1st time. So, we can expect a lower cut off.
170+ --> Def apply (If interested in Health Care Mgt)
4. For KJ-SOM PGDM
There are various PGDM Courses
PGDM
PGDM IB
PGDM FS
PGDM RM
PGDM MC
It's for the first time that they are accepting CMAT Scores for all the PGDM Courses. So, it's tough to predict the cut off's.
But those having 240+ should have a chance in PGDM/PGDM-IB and those with 200+ in other PGDM Courses.
5. Wellingkar PGDM
It is based on profile as well.
Those with 215+ can give it a try.
6. IMT - N : 180+
7. XISS Ranchi : 190+
8. XIME Blor : 200+
9. Praxis B-School : Rank below 6000
P.S : These are my views. Get back in case of any queries specific to a particular college.
