well to be honest that's a tough question to answer.
Hope you are aware of the pattern of CAT. So identify the section in which you are weak. Start working on that. Once you gain good confidence you can start with the other section(by other section i mean according to CAT. if you wan to divide it into 4 section, you are free to) . Try to get any of the institutes materal and go through all the basics. Then come to PG for high level of question. these are few thread where you can find CAT related discussions

Start reading articles which you love to read . Read and understand the passage in starting try to write the extract of the passage , do not look at the clock- that how much time you took to read the whole passage first thing is to understand the passage . In book i will say Aristotle RC-99 can be one of the options for you .

See there are no shortcuts start reading small-small paragragh type ,answer them and slowly move towards long paragraph. Concentration is totally on you bro thats y i am telling you read articles , newspaper etc full .Until and unless you read you will always have this problem. hey, i joined coaching CL last year but i realized it's of no use for me
and i ruined my CAT 2012 scores . But i have decided to study for CAT 2013 on my own
however i would like to get the mock papers that they provide for practice as one can only do so much from books and i can't afford to waste time and money by joining again..
what should i do??

I know shattereddream that dream teams & other teams are announced in AUGUST...I am talking about the team few guys in this post were planning to make for prep...
