Hi everyone, can neone pls suggest good books for CAT. Currently i am using Quant by Arun Sharma. Please post for all 3 sections.

for quant - Arun sharma is best
for VA- Wren and Martin + Manhattan or Aristotle SC guide (for grammar), RC- go through this link http://rcprep.com/view_passages.php?username=pagalguy , Vocab- take any word list and for other sections in va go through any coaching material
for DI/LR - there are no such particular book go through previous papers + links of thread in PG

after doing all these you can start giving mocks 😃

@rameshiit19 Hi, i would suggest u join TIME Adyar. Since Adyar is close to CEG and IIT-M, you will be attending classes with the best brains of the area and peer learning would indeed help while preparin for CAT.

@getupsid Hello, the QA questions in the TIME book only give u a basic idea of the type of questions. Now, you can work out previous yr papers and see how well you are able to apply the concepts u learnt. A better suggestion would be that you enroll for the takin up mock tests of TIME or some good coachin institute and practice the complex problems under time constraint.

Hii there :)

I did correspondence course under TIME, I had completed around half the books they had given when I started my mock tests. Most of their mock tests can be taken from home and hence it was an added advantage for me since the center was really far away, Also they give post exams materials that help preparing for GD and PI. Hi...i got 73 percentile and have 19 months of work experience and currently working..i have applied to LBS delhi, NIBM pune, Fore Delhi.


Any other options? or should i wait & try for next year..please help..

my cat12score : verbal:64.XX quant:99.XX oa: 96.XX
shud i prepare fr cat13? is cat13 giving more emphasis on english?
