Let me give you shock of the year. I train candidates across south-india since CAT-2011 but never expected this. Some of the weird performances of my students. 1) 6 attempts in Sec-2 and scored 84 percentile 2) 9 attempts in Sec-2 (10th Nov, Noon slot) scored 96.32; 3) 6 attempts in Sec-1 (6th Nov, Noon slot) scored 79.12 percentile 4) overall 12 attempts and scored 84.73; 5) overall 15 attempts (6th Nov, Noon slot) scored 86.95 and 6) overall 29 attempted (11th Nov, Monring slot) and scored 99.66. I laughed at the normalisation. When I appeared for CAT-2008 I prepared 50 days seriously and scored 99.93 percentile and always felt that CAT is world's Best test. Now when 2 students written CAT without any preparation and attempted just 12-15 questions got 85-88 percentile and in other slots with solid preparation and consistently scored 93-96 percentile in MOCK CATs and with 30-35 attempts equal to 65-70 percentile with 85%+ accuracy. I request IIMs to conducted Paper-OMR test or else you welcome to underserving candidates into IIMs.
